Unfortunately a wedding in WDW is pretty much out the question - it'd be too much to ask all our family to pay for flights, hotel etc - all the way from England !
So we're planning to get married in England (looking at old manor houses in the countryside, with lots of history and romance!)... and my theme will have lots of subtle Disney touches (hidden mickeys, disney table names etc)

Then honeymoon plans are.. 5 night Disney cruise to the Bahamas, then a week at the Grand Floridian! (I dreamt this up when I was about 14 years old lol .. luckily I found a man who's learning to love WDW too!)
DBF's parents have very kindly offered to pay for our honeymoon! I'll have to talk over the budget with them soon!

Did you guys do the Honeymoon Registry?
This looks perfect to me.. DBF & I already have our own home together so we really don't need the 'usual' wedding gift list!

that sounds beautiful. i love the GF we usually stay there. hopefully you start a pj soon we did not do the honeymoon registry. we really did not want any of the stuff on there. we tend to fly by night in disney and only make breakfast ressies. i just registered for my shower at the usual places, macys and bed bath and beyond.

Hey Sam! You are so sweet OMG yesterday sucked! I went into work (which took 2 hours instead of 40 minutes) but they closed my firm at 1pm so it was a pain getting home (another 2 hours). 2 trains and one bus later i was home. Did you get hit hard both snow storms? I know you are by the shore and they got hit real hard. Brooklyn got about 3" on sat. and then 10" yesterday. Sorry to leave you with a tease! i will be continuing on soon. I had some issues that were going on and needed to get squared away. Once those are completed(which should be next week), then I will be going on with my pj. I might do some this weekend though. Thanks for still following along! I have been reading yours still-love the inspiration board and the jacket is really nice! i think it is adorable that mike will be in an enchanted suit. everything looks like it is coming along wonderfully! can't wait to see your pictures!!!

I know it has been a while since I have posted. Life sometimes gets in the way. I have been very busy with work and some other personal stuff. I have a little time on my hands now and I have decided to just continue straight to my Wedding day since I don't have the time to really post my whole pre-trip and honeymoon. Since I finally got my proofs, prints and CD from Disney, I can now post some professional pictures along with a synopsis of my wedding day. Now without further ado, my wedding day.

I woke up at 6 am since Patricia was coming at 7am to begin hair and makeup for me, MOH and my other BFF who was my unofficial BM. Tom and I decided to spend the night before together (just our personal preference and I am not superstituous about that stuff). Being we stayed on concerige level, I did not have to worry about going down to get breakfast. We went to get some coffee and some food and brought it back to our room. I tried to eat but there was so much going on and I usually can't eat for an hour or more after I wake so I did not have much. Tom was running late that morning, so when Patricia, my mom, and the girls came they had to sit outside our room and wait for him to finish. Finally he was ready to go to our reverand's room (not sure if you all remember but our friend got ordained and was performing the ceremony)to hangout with him and get dressed(and they say women are always running late and take forever-). Patricia and her assistant (I can't remember her name but she was really nice and did a great job) started to set up and began with my makeup. My other BFF was there taking pictures of us getting ready since she is an amatuer photographer and was nice enough to do that for me. Here are some of her pictures:

Once I was all ready to go, everyone left except my mom. She stayed a bit and we waited for someone to come get me. When no one came, I told her to go downstairs and let them know I was coming so this way the photographers could get ready for the reveal. So I waited and noone came to get me. I decided to leave my room and call my MOH to let her know I was standing on the second floor of the GF and have no clue what to do. She said her and my other friend were coming to meet me. As soon as I step off the concierge elevator, I see Tom across the atrium and downstairs by the stairs. I run to the side and I am trying to hide in this dress, bouquet and 3 inch heels with noone there to help me. When I asked Tom later he swore he did not see me get off the elevator. I then see my girls running(the best they can in heels) to meet me. Finally off we go.....

I meet up with my girls and we start walking towards the stairs in the lobby. I guess the photographers were not ready for me because they got no shots of me walking down the stairs. My friend did get some shots

The photographers then tell me they have an idea for the reveal They want me to stand and to have Tom come around the corner. I was ok with that although I did want it to be a private moment. At least my friend got the shot I really wanted. If it was private, I would not have gotten it.

After that Ken had everyone head towards the Wedding Pavillion and Tom and I took some shots at the Grand Floridian. We did not get a chance to take many shots because of the time but here are some:

Thanks Kelly, I love random comments. Yeah, I decided at least to do a wedding day recap. Now that I have all my pics, I can post. Too bad the low res CD really is grainy.

Try reducing the size of the pics a little bit in photobucket. It should make the pics less grainy. When I first uploaded the low res CD to walgreens.com it let me increase the size to 5X7, but really affected the quality. It seems 4x6 (or medium size in photobucket) gives the clearest photo w/ that disc. Hope that works a little better!

We already live together so it seems silly to stay apart before the wedding. Plus those club level rooms aren't cheap, so I'm definitely not getting two of them and DF would never agree to stay at a cheaper resort and let me stay at the GF!

You looked so beautiful on your wedding day and I love your purple flowers against your white dress. A lot of weddings I've been too lately have used white flowers and I just don't think they stand out as much.

I love your first look pictures, esp the one of Tom coming around the corner, it's almost like he doesn't know what to expect! And I like all the sweet shots that followed that, I'm so glad we're going to do a first look.

Thanks Sara. I agree. We have lived together for over 3 years anyway and Tom is the same way. He would not want to stay else where but the GF especially on the night before the wedding. I will tell you that the club rooms are so worth it. Not sure if you have stayed in one before but all I have to say is the food. So yummy!!! It was the best on the morning of my wedding since I did not have to run to Gasparella's to get anything. Tom jokes that is the only way we are staying for now on when we go to Disney.

I agree about the white flowers. I am all about color, I feel white gets washed out and I love a pop of color. Disney florist did a fantastic job on mine and MOH's flowers and also the centerpieces which I will post later. I did very simple since I am not a big flower person but they tables looked simple and elegant in my opinion.

The photographers did the first look as a story where they had taken pictures of Tom and then me separately. I did not want that to happen the way it did but what can you do. I am totally glad I did the first look because we were able to take more pictures before hand. Actually in the jewish religion you are suppose to do a first look. I don't remember who your photographer is going to be, but just make sure you tell them EXACTLY how you want your first look to be.
