these are a sample of my invites.

we are looking to cut money and i would rather have characters or spend extra on photos at my wedding then invitations. they looked ok in the picture but when i got them I was not too happy. oh well-they are just invitations i guess-most people throw them away and for $145.00 i guess i shouldn't complain. i dont love the way they fold but like i said oh well.

my sister in law threw mine out after opening it and didnt even show her husband- vins brother-- goes to show you they hardly mean anything to anyone

lol-thanks for being nice but they are nothing compared to the stuff you do. that's messed up w. your SIL! but that is what i mean-so many people throw that stuff away ya know. its a shame my save the dates from disney are much nicer than my invitations!!!!

thats okay, I really do like them though honest. THey are simple-which I love!

I always keep invitations from weddings, i also keep the name cards too or favors (if keepable) - i think its nice to keep them

Thanks girlies-you know most of my friends and tom's friends spent so much money on these fancy fancy invitations and i feel like some people judge what they think the wedding will be like from the invitations. it is probably me being a moron and tom said who gives a hoot what people think. he is right but this is how i am. i dont care what people think of me but of things i do you know what i mean. well i am glad you 2 like them! then again his one friend's wife had sent their baby's baptism invitation and then again the thank you to Tom and fiancee. considering we have been together for 3 1/2 years and i worked with her husband who introduced me and tom-kind of strange.we think it is hillarious and weird. i looked online and that mr. so and fiancee is not proper ettiquete so who knows!

Cute invites! I'm sure they turned out nice. I always save my invites on the fridge, hehe. But most people probably don't. Like you said, there are definitely better things to spend your money on.

thanks sam. I keep my invites on the fridge also but once the affair is over i throw them away. like i always say-it is what it is and i just have to suck it up.

well very excited because 2 weeks from today is when we leave for disney to begin our planning. we are staying at the Buena Vista Resort and Hotel in downtown disney (anyone ever stay there?) during our stay and our friends who live in florida are meeting us with their 8 month old son and 6 year niece. we have our planning session at 9 am on june 26 and then our menu tasting following that at the GF. soooo excited for that!!! just seeing everyones' menu tasting and how tasty all the food looks, makes my mouth water. then we have a reservation at chef mickeys for that night! what up food! good thing i don't have to really diet and that i just lost 10 lbs. then on sat. june 27 patricia lejune is coming at 9 am to do my hair and makeup trial. very excited to meet her! i feel like there are sooo many things to ask ken (my planner) at the PS and what if i forget something on my list. i have pictures printed to show him some ideas. we filled out that RIDICULOUS questionaire-i mean how do i know what flowers i am having or menu? we have not even had out PS yet. DF was getting frustrated and i was trying to be the calm one. we just left a lot blank and figuered we could worry about it later. i really really hope that work does not expect me to take my labtop, its bad enough i have to bring my blackberry and check it a few times a day. will be telling them to kiss my booty on my wedding/honeymoon. what totally sucks though is that the day before we leave i basically have to work from 8 am until at least 1 am (yes 8am to 1 am-crazy i know but this is my life)and get home by 2:00am. our flight is 8 am which means being at the airport by 6 am and up by 4am-so no sleep. my butt will be sleeping on the plane! i know i am kind of rambling, but sooooo excited to be in disney again and hope i am not crashed out our first day. i am sure once i get there the adrenline will be running!!

This is what happens when you spend your life healthy and then teach in a preppy school..... who bring in loads of junk lol.... not fair... but oh well

as for the loosing weight, i have always been thin and i am lucky to have a good metabolism. seriously, up until i got into my 30s, i could eat what i want and not gain a pound. then the 30s hit and it changed!!! lol we basically stopped eating out and i started bringing lunch everyday instead of eatting out. that was more for saving $$$ since you know how expensive it is in NYC for lunch and I ended up losing weight. I actually was planning on not losing weight until september or so since i only wanted to loose 5 lbs and i ended up losing 10. now i have to start using my Wii just to tone up. i do have to be careful now that i don't loose too much weight since i once start to loose, i keep loosing. i know most girls try to loose weight for their wedding, i am the opposite where i can loose so much weigh i would look aneorixic. that is almost as bad as looking heavy on your wedding day-who wants to look at some skeleton with bones sticking out-yuck! as for you, i don't think you need to worry much since you too are thin. you are going to looks so beautiful on your wedding day!!! so excited for you that it is a month away!!!

Hey! I think the invites are cute- you could do much worse! But I understand wanting to have money for other things. For us, it's a good videographer. I'm just now going through the process of picking out invites. I'm going to keep in mind what you guys are saying about ppl just throwing them away.

i know its been a while since i have been on but been so busy! tuesday was my b-day. we had a bbq on our friend's roof top-you can see all of the west side and hudson river-so cool. they got me a cake. since i told tom nothing crazy expensive since we are paying for this wedding, tom got me guitar hero metallica(so cool) and the live Cd/DVD of Michael Buble (our wedding song) at MSG! some good news-we sent out our invitations yesterday! luckily the invitations all needed just a $.44 stamp so i was happy. i am almost done with my newsletter. it looks so good especially since my friend from work (who is in IT) helped me put it together. just a few more touches and then i can send it out and will post it. now for the best news...my PS is on friday!!! so excited and nervous. so afraid of prices(esp floral) and my BEO but me and df know where our limits are so hopefully it will be what i want within price range.

also thinking about what i should walk down the isle to. i really want something disney themed and not the usual bridal march. my favorite disney movie is beauty and the beast and was thinking about walking down the isle to the theme song from the movie. not sure how that would sound though? is it too tacky? there are not many slower romantic songs from the movie. i have to see if the WP organist can even play it. i think df would like to walk into one of the pirates of the carribean songs since that is his favorite movie. let me know what you think about B&TB theme song.

we are meeting the best man and his wife, their little baby and niece in disney. so excited to see them since i am close to the wife. should be a good time. can't wait to see the WP(never saw the inside) and where my reception will be. looking forward to meeting ken and jen and eat cake!! haha i will take tons of pics and post them when we get back. hopefully work won't make me take my laptop- we will see. although i will not let anything get me down! ill keep you posted on everything!
