At first I questioned whether or not I actually needed invitations at all. I know that a lot of Escape brides find that they dont need them. My family and I keep in very close contact and they are the ones who planned the Disney trip in the first place- I just hijacked it with a wedding. lol
But My DFi doesnt talk to his family much, and I havent even met them, so I was worried that they didnt really believe that this wedding was happening and I wanted to make sure people could arrange to have off work or for transportation and travel time and expenses.
I couldnt find any company that sold less than 50 invitations and I found a lot of really expensive ones. So I figured I could use some creativity and make my own. Well I think it was the printer, but they looked kind of sloppy and unprofessional- so I was looking for an alternative.
My sister uses www.vistaprint.com for address labels and other things for work, and when I looked they were very reasonable (starting at 10 invitations for 7.99) . I liked the fact that they were pretty much a blank template and I could add and adjust a lot to make it unique.
Here is how they turned out- sort of there is some detailing that wouldnt copy from the internet. There is a pattern on the invitations that you cant see in these pictures. Hopefully when they come, I will be able to take a photo.
