Steelers - Jets, let's talk some trash

I am so torn...having lived in NJ my whole life I was born and raised a Jets fan, long suffering....through the Dan Marino _win_every_game_in_the_last_two_minutes years, the Vinnie Testaverde Years, etc.....

I married a PA native and huge Steelers fan, so I hate anytime the Jets/Steelers have to play each other. I rooted for the Jets last game because the Steelers were ok either way, win or lose. This game is harder.

Lifelong resident of Jersey here. If the Jets were playing any other team, I'd be rooting for them. If they should beat the Steelers I'd be upset, but would definitely root for them in the Super Bowl.

I don't know. I heard the price for buying your own officiating crew has gone up quite a bit. They may be forced to earn it.

I'm not quite sure I understand this statement. Have you met James Harrison? Fined well over $100,000 for some ligitiment calls, but also some that the NFL has later stated should not have been penalties. Though Harrison was still fined.

When was the last time you seen a roughing the passer call on Ben? Let me answer that...Never! Broken nose, sucker punched, multiple late hits....nada!

There were even people who pitched in to pay Harrisons's fines because so many people thought it was BS. He collected so much money he had a huge Christmas party for a bunch of underprivlaged children. And from what I understand has money left over for more parties in years to come.

When was the last time you seen a roughing the passer call on Ben? Let me answer that...Never! Broken nose, sucker punched, multiple late hits....nada!

As a Bills fan who dislikes the Steelers, hates the Patriots, and loves the Colts I gotta agree with this.

The league protects Brady and Peyton. And I looooove Peyton Manning, so that's not sour grapes on my end. I saw a late hit that wasn't called on BenRoth a month or so agree that was so blatantly illegal that I couldn't believe what I was watching.

And I never cheer for the Steelers. Unless they play the Pats. Or Michael Vick.

What did Mark Sanchez ever do wrong? From all I've heard he tries really hard to become a better player and I've never heard anything negative about him off the field. Is there something in the NY media that hasn't made it to the full media?

He didn't. He's a lawyer so he's got the whole diplomatic thing down. He really is very cool. Even gave me tickets for DH and DD to go to a Jets/Giants preseason game a few years back. 48th yard line/4th row. And DD was only concerned with the music they were playing and the good food they had in the Club. What a waste of good tickets. I've never been to a live game. Should have left her home.
