I want to take my DH to a nice dinner while in WDW - wanted to try LeCellier, but haven't been able to get a reservation. So going to take to another steakhouse restaurant... Would you do Yachtsman or Shula's?

Thanks!

Agree.
As long as you aren't hampered by the DP, Shula's is by far the better choice.

Been to all 3. Shulas hands down. (I promised my dh this after he held my hand when I was in a coma for 2 days and then he did 300 bandage changes).

Went to Shulas last Dec. and bonus, we got to sit at the table next to Hank Aaron!! Awesome!! Very $$$, but worth every penny. I think we did like $160 with a tiw discount and no alcohol.

Been to all three. If I were on the dining plan, I would take Yachtsman over Le Cellier. If I were paying out of pocket, Shula's without question.

One more vote for Shula's...and if you decide to go, don't forget that restaurant.com has certificates for $25 off two meals.

I know that this was not one of the options given but consider the Bull & Bear at the Waldorf-Astoria. Excellent service and amazing food. The chocolate souffle alone is worth the trip.

I have always enjoyed Yachtmans a great deal. Always had great service and terrific food!

Lots of votes for Shula's. Question though--is there more if Disney experience at Yachtsman? Is it fancier?

The only thing that makes Yachtsman more Disney are the ID tags on the cast members and more kids in the restaurant. I wouldn't say one is fancier then the other but they have different decors. Shula's feels like a traditional steakhouse...darker furniture, dimmer lights, etc. Where as Yachtsman is a little brighter since there are so many windows.

We loved Shula's, but can't compare it to the others. It has an upscale adult atmosphere, without being too formal or stuffy. Excellent food.
