Steakhouse 71 or Yachtsman Steakhouse

We are hoping to visit Disney World during February and are looking for input into which is the better Steakhouse. Distance between tables is a factor as well as the food given current Covid conditions. Any insight would be helpful. In all of our trips we have never been to Yachstman and Steakhouse 71 is relatively new so all thoughts are appreciated.

I have never been to yachtman but went to Steakhouse 71 last trip back in November. Tables weren’t super close. Probably not 6 ft apart like when parks reopened but not right next to you like other places in WDW where you can touch the people next to you if you wanted. Thought the food was pretty good.

I have never been to Steakhouse 71 but found Yachstman to have considerable space between tables. That was pre-covid.

Yachstman!! We love eating there.

Never noticed the table distance. We just love the food.

I would say Yachtsman all around, plus there are more choice in cuts and preparation of the beef at Yachtsman.

We’ve done both. Table spacing seems about the same. But…

Yachtsman is far more established as a steakhouse. Food at both is excellent, but I’d give the edge to YM in level of attentiveness. S71 strikes me as more of a family place for those with young children.
