I like mine medium rare. My husband, on the other hand, will tell the wait person "Wipe it's butt, knock the horns off, and throw it on the plate." I kid you not... his words exactly.
Porterhouse seasoned with Montreal Steak Seasoning on the grill till medium rare. Sprinkle some Lea & Perrin's Worchestershire sauce on it and I'm in heaven.

No longer a red meat eater, but grew up that way, and steak was definitely a medium rare order. Well done is like chewing shoe leather to me.
But now, the thought of eating it at all gags me, and I know my stomach would agree with me.
(DIS Disclaimer: This is not an attack on those who eat meat. I'm not a vegetarian, and I honestly don't care what anyone else eats. I'm just saying that eating a steak has zero appeal to me.)
When I was younger I always ordered well done *referred to in my family as a hockey puck* and then I got a job in a steakhouse and realized the crappiest piece of meat gets given to the well done people so I now order my filet mignon, ny strip or ribeye medium. Then I put a dab of A1 on the plate and it's ALL good!
