Well, we've made the step up from AllStars, CBR and PO (well it was DxL when we were there) What are the things "not to miss" at the Poly? We love Kona and enjoy 'Ohana for some of our meals. Tell me about the resort -- staying there 5 nights over Halloween 2002 plus a couple of nights at BCV. (dw and I - grown up kids on an escape vacation). Looking forward to Food & Wine Fest -- what else?
). One of the things that I like is that by disney standards it has relatively few rooms (around 900... i think?) so the resort never seems crowded or noisy to me. All the plants, flowers and landscaping is very calming and I have never noticed "the smell". Its very laid back and relaxing. Is it a little dated? Sure, but I think thats what gives it character. If you can, try the concierge service, its great to spoiled for a few days! Enjoy! We're going in August so I'll let you know if we come up with anything else.
