Anybody Going At Christmas Time - I have an extra little 3 ft. tree I can bring if you'd like it for your box. It has lights, but no ornaments. If your box needs white lights for your window, I have plenty to donate. And I have pine garland and big red felt bows. PM me if you're interested.

Also, I hit a surplus of Disney Christmas window clings at the dollar store (mostly Pooh & Gang). If anybody wants some, let me know. They can be mailed. Gave some to my neighbors to decorate their van windows since they're driving down.

We recieved box #1 at check in from Coinkc. I can't remember everything that was in it but I'll try: scissors, tape, lime green crepe paper streamers, lime green mickey heads, journal, mickey cardboard decorations. I left my pirate banner, pirate flag window cling and pirate window cling with characters dressed up as pirates.

I'll post a picture as soon as I get them uploaded. We were at the back of the Tramp building by the lake so we didn't have much traffic by our window. I had made a sign for our door but since it was so humid and my magnet/laminate was getting a little old it started to peel apart. We had a great trip and passed the box on. I actually left two packages for the next Diser since we couldn't take any liquids in our carryons when we left, the rest of our bottled water and some "alcoholic wine stuff" as my son calles it.

Lemme just say it was so fun to have some goodies waiting for me at the front desk when I arrived! Thanks, Michelle, for starting this! And thanks, Withay (Lauryn), for contributing! DH thought I was nuts as I gleefully went through the stuff and taped my decorations to my window. LOL!

I already emailed Stephanie below me with the list of what is now in #2:
HD Mickey chips (aout 15-20)
Two big lime green Mickey outlines I made from foam
1 Mickey and Pals and 1 Pooh and Pals placemat from Dollar Tree
About a half roll of scotch tape
A lime green cork board and two cork strips (Will probably need masking tape to secure. The magnets on it gave way on me after day 1. Check with Dustball, who is after me, if she is bringing any first...)
Some clip art signs I made
Lime green Mickeys I printed out with "Do you Dis? www.disboards.com" on them.
Some markers, pencil crayons, and stickers
A notebook to send on messages, tips, and hellos to future box #2 folks.
Letter window clings. (I changed my message every few days...)

This was so fun! Any chance we can get box #2 going for two more years so I can use the stuff again? LOL!

OMG!!! I saw your window!!! I was walking around POP a few days ago and saw a window with pirate pics and red/silver streamers. I assumed it was a Diser but didn't see any sign of lime green.... 4shiningstars was also there. I didn't get to meet her, either, but I at least got to sign her door. DH thought I was nuts going to the second floor of a building as we walked by because I saw a little bit of lime green. LOL!

We didn't have a high traffic area, either. We were way in the far corner of building #4, first floor, near the lake and big red yo-yo.

Well it looks like my great but sneaky friend has already gotten us a box for our Sept4-10 trip. Yippee!!!! And it looks as if we might need to start another box...maybe a Halloween Box for our Sept 29-Oct 6 trip. I'd certainly be willing to start one, if you wanted to post a Box number 6!!!!! I thought I share a little idea that is being started for DVC owners as we speak. Someone in Celebration is 'warehouseing' personal boxes that he brings to our unit upon our arrival and then picks up on departure, where we can store things we use at Disney if we visit several times a year.

Do you think this all started with the Xmas tree exchange? It's just such a beautiful and fun way to 'share'. I'm excited about what we can add to the box. BTW, how BIG are these boxes anyway?????? I was thinking that I had a suitcase with broken rollers that is useless as a suitcase but would make a FINE box!!!!!!

The boxes are in some cases bags, but it all changes depend on how much stuff gets into it i'm bringing some standard size shipping boes down since i am getting 3 of the boxes while i am there to replenish them with all the stuff i have!!

Kid sister, i have put you down as a starter for BOX 6, i think KBMOO was interested in other dates that were not available in box 1-5 as of now. You could always pm her and also JillL was interested in a box 6.

Just let me know, otherwise we can go ahead and just have you donate your decorations to someone else coming in

Woooo Hooooo!!!

Only ten days to go. I went to the teacher center today and laminated my hd mickey heads. I also cut out and laminated letters to put messages on our window

"Happy 23rd Anniversary"
"23 Magical Years"

A couple of hearts and lots of different hd heads. I also got some twinkle lights from a wonderful diser here and have some flower garland and window chalk.

I cannot wait, I am getting sooo excited.
