Staying on site question

Hey fellow Disney folks!

I was reading somewhere that if you are staying as a guest at any of the Disney properties, you can automatically get free parking at any of the Disney theme parks - is this right? It would be great to be able to come and go to the parks without having to rely on the buses.

If anyone could confirm that would be great.

yes you do get free parking at al disney parks if you stay on site, we have stayed on site for the last 2 visits and was given a voucher at checkin to place in the car and show when entering the parking lots. hope this helps.

Parking is free (unless you go for valet I believe) & yes those $ add up, especially at $8/day. We drove to all the parks except MK for EMH as it was quicker on Disney bus which takes you to the door rather than negotiate monorail or boat etc. Downside was having to stand on the way back as the bus was full (3pm) & I thought that would be a good time as people would have been watching the parade!

Agree about MK. If you go by car, it can take longer to get to the park than using Disney's transport. Disney's transport will take you straight from your Disney hotel to the park entrance. MK's car park is quite a way from the park entrance, you'll need to get to the TTC then another means of transport to get to the entrance.
