Staying offsite....can I still get Magic Bands?

We are staying offsite in November. I will be buying tickets for the week. Can I buy Magic Bands to put the tickets on? I am worried about the 4 12-14 year olds we will have with us losing their tickets.

Any other suggestions?

Nope. They are for onsite guests only and you must show 3 forms of ID, as well as a blood sample.

Yes, nearly every gift shop and kiosk anywhere in WDW sells them. You can then link your tickets to them in MDE. You can't charge anything using them like onsite guests can. But you can use them for admission into the parks and your FP+. We have 3 or 4 MBs each, my kids have like 5 each.

You can also buy them online on the shop Disney site , link your tickets and be ready to go when you arrive here

Yup - What Yulilin3 said - but bring or take a picture of your tickets too - just in case!!!

Lots of places you can purchase them.
If the kids will be with you at each park, you can give them the tickets to get in, and then hold them so they can't lose them.
If you get MBs, you also need to decide who can and cannot charge. Giving 12-14 year olds charging ability can be a bad thing.

OP is staying off-site, so charging isn't even an option here. But keeping kids from charging is pretty simple - just don't give them the PIN.

Plus you can buy different versions for each one and use a sharpie to put their names on because once they go in, they must continue to use the same one.

If they have any old magic bands from previous trips, they can still use them unless the battery is used up or they have been deactivated. If they have been deactivated, they can be reactivated online.
