Staying Off Site Worried about ADRs

Hi!
I was hoping for some reassurance or help from anyone who has been in the same situation. We are planning a trip for April 22 to April 29, staying off site. I know that since I am not a Disney resort guest, I cannot make all of my ADRs for my entire stay, I have to do so at my 180 day mark for each day. My fear is that with it being such a busy time, that I will be shut out the reservations that I really want (Cinderella's castle being my main concern). Does anyone have any experience or advice?

I am staying off site for xmas and made all my ADR in late July and had good luck. Start calling early in am and work on line as well.

We stay offsite. I got CRT without a problem, and actually less than 180 days out. We were close to the 180, but it wasn't exact. You will probably be okay if you do as close to 180 as possible. If you don't get it, keep trying. You never know when someone will cancel. GL!

I will also be staying off-site for our March 2011 trip. I just finished making our ADR's yesterday. I got on the WDW website at exactly 6am each morning for a week to make my daily ADR's. I was able to score all of them I wanted at the times I wanted including CP at 8:05 am and Tusker House at 8:05 am and dinner at 'Ohana. The only one that I could not get was California Grill on a Wednesday night. There were NO times that entire evening 180 days out. Such a bummer. I went ahead and made an ADR for the Yachtsman Steakhouse and will keep trying California Grill.

We stayed off site our last trip and I was able to get all the ADRs I wanted... I had to try a few times for some of them, but it all worked out in the end

You will probably have more luck toward the end of your vacation, so you might want to plan around that. the Easter weekend and the day or two afterwards may be tough for you as the 180+10 folks will probably frustrate you to no end.
