Hello Disney Fans,

Been browsing the site and others looking for accurate information on driving from Windsor Hills Resorts to the Disney Parking Lots and for Downtown Disney.
Any recommended links for plugging in GPS coordinates from Windsor Hills Resort so that I get my family to all the parking lots and DTD without driving into a swamp:)
I heard there is a "back way" to get from Windsor Hills to Animal Kingdom Parking Lot as an example.
As well looking for help driving from the Orlando Airport to Windsor Hills.

Thanks for any help!

Yes, Sherboth Rd will get you to Osceola Parkway from 192. It's a left out of the road your resort is on onto 192, then a right to Sherboth Rd.

From the airport, 417 south to 192 west.

Osceola Parkway to World Drive is your best route to all parks and DTD except AK. There are other ways but this way is easiest.

I would take Osceola Parkway to Victory Way to Buena Vista Dr for DTD but I know the area.

I apologize that I don't know how to attach this correctly, but I have found this map to be very good for getting around when you are inside Disney property. It
has stoplights marked so you can count ahead of time. It is a buy it now for $3.99 with free shipping. I have purchased a few for friends.

Getting around is really easy from Windsor Hills. When you get to Irlo Bronson Memorial Highway, you'll turn right for most of the parks. Soon you'll see an exit ramp that says Walt Disney World. Just take it and follow the signs to each of the parks. HS is an almost immediate exit to the right. The others are further back.

You can take Sherberth Rd to AK, and it will save some time. For that, you'll take a left on Irlo Bronson. Sherberth Rd will be a right turn not long after that. I think it's either the first or second light. Just follow it until you see a sign that says AKL to the left and all other guest areas to the right. Turn right and follow the signs. You will have to make an unprotected left, but there's usually not much traffic.

I do use the GPS for getting back "home." Mine always routes me on the main roads that Disney intends for people to take. You'll take slightly different ways home depending on the park you're coming from. When you leave Epcot, you'll be on I4 for a very short time. I think you go straight to Irlo Bronson from the other parks, but I could be wrong.

Getting to Windsor hills
They have excellent directions on the website so the GPS doesn't bring you a wrong way. When inside the security will give you directions to your rental.

When leaving Windsor hills! turn left go to the red light make a right turn in Irlo Bronson RT 192. Follow the signs about 2 miles onto the world Drive and to which ever park you are going to. I think it was about ten minute drives to the parking lots.

Exiting at night follow the world drive, go past the exit to the resort hotels, the next one Rt 192 as we came down the exit our GPS led us right to the main gate of Windsor. Once on rt 192 the first cross street is Reddy Creek (sp) stay to the left turning left onto the next road called Old Wilson Lake road, a red light, thats to Windsor. I think it's the third driveway on the right about a half mile.

There is a Pubex if you leave Windsor and turn right. As you leave and turn left to rt 192 there is a Perkins and every other type of eatery.

Staying at Windsor. Take two extra rolls of TP, napkins, and a small bottle of dish liquid, unless you just want to let the dishes in the dishwasher and they will run it when you leave. There is a washer and dryer in the condo, I took packets of detergent and dryer sheets. There are towels, changes of be adding if you need it.

I took coffee and filters for the pot, they have milk at the small store on site across from security. We picked up bagels, butter, cream cheese and cereal. Some fruit, frozen pizza and cold cuts. Case of water and drinks.

"From Windsor Hills Resort main gate turn left to Old Lake Wilson Rd, proceed to the stoplight at W. Irlo Bronson Hwy. (Hwy. 192).
Turn right on Hwy 192 and continue approximately two (2) miles.
Take the World Drive N. ramp toward Walt Disney World.
Turn right onto World Drive. Follow signs to the park of your choice and have fun!"
