Hi everyone
I've just booked to stay in the Sheraton hotel Anaheim, and was wondering what it's like..anyone styaed there?.
I know its not a Disney Resort hotel...so i hope i havn't posted in the wrong bit.:confused3

bumping this up...

We stayed there in November last year and we loved it:love: . It is a really beautiful hotel and we would stay there again.
Get room 1179 and I'm sure you will not be dissapointed, It was like a suite and had a door inside the hotel and one out onto the grounds, looking onto the pool. The grounds are beautiful and the bar, restaurant and deli place good too!

When I get a chance I will put some pics up for you!

Ohh excellent, that sounds great!...thanks, i look forward to the pics! :)

we stayed here too in Nov 05 and it was fab - the beds are really comfy just like home!!!! The shuttle bus from the hotel runs every half an hour and it is very reliable and clean. The grounds are gorgeous and staff are excellent and friendly, and the maids do an excellent job. I can honeslty say that I dont have a bad word to say about this hotel it was great - you can even see the fireworks from the carpark at the front of the hotel.

You will have a blast

Our beautiful room (1179) at the Sheraton World.

The really comfy 'heavenly beds', a little high off the ground for a 5' person like me!

Is the pool heated? Thanks!

We stayed there before it was the Sheritan. The Coast hotel. It was fabulous. I will stay there again when we go next Christmas. We got the 10th floor, balcony overlooking the park and the front desk and conceirge(sp) were very helpful. You don't really need a shuttle as it only took about 10 min to walk. The restaruants were good and we used the little "deli" as well. I totally recommend it.

You are talking about a different hotel. The former Coast Hotel is not this Sheraton. The Sheraton mentioned in this post is on 900 South Disneyland Drive and sort of a lowrise, English Tudor/Castle type exterior. Its called the Sheraton Anaheim Hotel. It gets so confusing with all the different chains having more than one property near Disneyland!

Thanks for the nice pictures Emmo but bummer for me! I just cancelled the Sheraton and went with the Candy Cane since it was cheaper with free parking and a free breakfast. I guess there's always another time to try out those beds!

We stayed there one night in June, because our flight was cancelled and we needed to fly in a day later. We arrived after dark, and I thought the neighborhood was kinda scary. The hotel seemed fine, though--the room was big, comfortable, and clean, the staff were friendly and helpful, and we had a great late night dinner from the deli. I wouldn't stay there as part of a planned vacation, though--its too far.

how funny....thats the room we stayed in at the end of Nov...that room was HUGE!!!...I always stay in that wing and when I came down in March this past year I stayed next door and then in May I stayed across the hall and by far that was the biggest room...I love Sheraton:love:

Yeah we will ask for that room again when we go this year! We met people who paid more than we did for a third floor room, which by all accounts was smaller. But then it was veterans weekend so i guess they had to take what they could!
