We've paid cash at check in at DL Hotel for Club access when staying at the hotel on points. Anyone know if we can do the same at the VGC? Thanks.
We just got back from Disneyland, staying at the Grand California and were able to get club level access. We stayed on points in a 1 bedroom Villa and paid $115 a night for access to the Club lounge. It was a bit of a walk from the villa, but worth it for our family of 4.
The price seems high for what you get.

To each their own, but we found it to be a good value because of the convenience factor. We have a 3 year old and a 1 month old, so being able to go to the concierge lounge for breakfast, snacks and a dinner of appetizers for the toddler, was easy and quick.
They have simple snacks like pretzels and goldfish crackers available all day and I think my kid ate her weight in uncrustables. We also enjoyed taking some adult beverages back to our balcony for relaxing in the evenings.
We did lots of pool time with short park visits on this trip, so we made good use of the lounge.
Hi, thanks for posting about your experience. Were you able to receive other concierge benefits, such as daily housekeeping and itinerary planning?

It all depends on how many are in your party and *what you eat*. There are just the 3 of us, and we are vegetarian, and in a week at PPH we had ONE night where we could touch the hot appetizer. We have to be careful with ingredients, and Uncrustables are absolutely forbidden for DS and DH, thanks to the colors, corn syrup, and HFCS in them. Leaves us with fruit, *some* desserts, chips, and water, pretty much. Oh and coffee for me.![]()
Agree.
I don't mind splurging from time-to-time but that's a bit much for me. We recently returned from VGC and fed 8 people for 5 nights on $200 worth of groceries. That grocery tab included all of the beverages and snacks we ate for the week, all breakfasts, most lunches (lots of Uncrustables for the kids) and three pretty substantial dinners.
Sounds like it would have been around $1100-1200 for our group for concierge access. I'm all for a little pampering but I don't think I could pay 5-6x as much just to have Disney pre-thaw the Uncrustables for us.![]()
