Staying at WL, question about other hotel & restaurant...

I am staying at WL tomorrow night. We have a dinner reservation at Shutters. Is this restaurant at Caribbean Beach or at Port Royal. I am confused.

Also, has anyone dined at this restaurant? I saw the menu on line & it sounded great.

Shutters is the table-service restaurant off the food court in the Old Port Royale building at Caribbean Beach resort. We had dinner there last year and the food was good although I can't remember what we ate.

Shutters is located at Carribbean Beach Resort. The food court/shopping area at that resort is known as Port Royal. Port Royal is not a separate resort.

I haven't eaten there and really haven't heard much about it. I suggest you do a search in this forum to find reviews.

BTW, I would suggest taking a taxi or, if you have a car, driving to CBR in order to make your PS time.

We had a meal at Shutters when we stayed at CBR. Food was excellent, restaurant was uncrowded. I have allergy issues and the chef was quick to come out and speak with me; and I was surprised at all the options I had.

We did it once and I was sorry that we did not have a chance to do it again during our trip. I think it is one of those hidden gems that most people do not know about.

If you take a cab, have them drop you off at Old Port Royale, NOT at the lobby/check in building (it is called the Custom House). These are separate buildings and they are not all that close to one another.
