We are planning a WDW trip for 2016 and I am curious about the Villas at the Grand Floridian.
I am a DVC member and I have stayed at villas at Aulani, Wilderness Lodge, Boardwalk, Grand Californian, Animal Kingdom Lodge.
What are the VGF rooms like? How do they compare to other DVC villas?
Thanks for any thoughts/experiences about this!

While I applaud the pp who made do by hauling things out of the closet and living out of a suitcase, my wife and I found the studio barely had enough room for the two of us for a week (we do like to put things in drawers and hang up some clothes). The Murphy bed under the TV takes away all of the potential drawer space there. The bed has two large drawers, but you can only use one since the other is blocked from opening by the large, heavy bedside table. Due to the split bathroom concept, there is a second bath/shower which takes up space that could be used for a larger closet. Instead, you are left to use the tiny closet in the hallway which has the safe, iron/ironing board, vacuum cleaner, and vertical shelving consisting of 3-4 very small cubicles. There is no other storage in the unit. We, too, stuck our suitcases in the hall against the lock-off door. All that aside, the studio was lovely and well-decorated. We had a lake view room which offered superb views of the water, Poly, the Wedding Pavilion, CR, boats, and even the monorail off in the distance. We will definitely stay there again at some point in the future.
