Staying at the same resort as last time ~ can you go home again?

Hi all! We would like to split our WDW resorts. We have stayed at CBR and CSR before and preferred CBR. We are staying at POR next trip for 4 days and hopefully a deluxe for 3 or 4 days after POR. However, if we don't get a great rate at a deluxe, we will stay elsewhere. I was thinking about CBR again. We had such a magically time there in 2001. Thing is, can you go back and still recapture the magic or will I be disappointed? THX S

I have - back to back stays at the Contemporary and other set of back to back stays at the Dolphin

I've done back-to-backs with CBR and AKL, and yes, you can go back again. I would definitely return a third time to either one, they are both gorgeous resorts.

We have stayed at CBR more times than I care to admit. We have stayed at the other moderates in between. We still think of CBR as our home resort. It is nice to be so familiar with the resort that you can spot the differences since the last time you were there. We also remember special moments from earlier trips when we are sitting in the courtyard eating breakfast. It was magical even after many trips to CBR.

Oh Yes! We have stayed there many times, each trip magical.

They have also redone the food court so that would be something to look forward to!

We've had 27 vacations at the Poly and our 28th starts March 27...so yes you can go home again!

Yes you most certainly can and Disney knows it and makes money off of it...It's called The Disney Vacation Club!!!!
(I know you aren't limited to one resort, but so far there are only 4 and one more on the way, so chances are you'll be going back to at least one of them more than once!)

...that's a tough one!! I personally love to explore new places (I dunno ~ I guess, for "braggin' rights"!) I REALLY loved the Dolphin, but, rather than going there again, I wanted to try WL (mind you, they would BOTH have been $129/nite ad I do love the location of S/D) and I am SOOOOO glad that I chose WL!! My dilemma is this: now that I have experienced a Deluxe, I don't really want to go back to a "Mod"....

We have stayed at the CR twice and both times were terrific. I think it depends on the resort. We also stayed at the Ply twice and still aren't impresses witht he resort. When we stay again on property we will probably stay again at CS because we have such fond memories of the resort.
