Staying at SSR - which section should I request? Which is best?

I am staying at SSR next week in a 2 bedroom villa. We have never really heard much about this resort and did a last minute trip this year so was wondering what section of the resort to request in online check in? Should I request the are closest to the check-in and main pool or is there some perk to one of the other areas I am unaware of? I need enlightenment! Thank you for your plethora of knowledge!

Grandstand was good, it's the first bus stop and close enough to the main building

We're planning a trip to SSR next summer and were talking about this just last night. We are thinking about the Paddock area. Thoughts?

I've stayed at the Paddock area twice and loved it (1-BR and 2-BR). I didn't find the walk to the food court to be bad at all. If you are thinking about the Springs area , remember that it is the last stop for the Theme Parks and is sometimes full when it reaches your stop.

Congress Park and the Springs are considered preferred. Paddock, Grandstand and Carousel are considered standard.

The Springs is the last stop. Paddock is next, followed by Congress Park, then Springs.
