Staying at RPR...can park a few hours at HRH?

On our check-out day from RPR, after IOA we are taking the kids to the HRH pool. Would DH be allowed to move our car to the HRH parking lot, so it's there when we're ready to leave?

Hmmmmm..... you use your hotel key card to get in and out of parking. I don't think it would work since when we stayed at RPR our key card would not work to get into the back entrance at HRH, had to go around poolside or front entrance. I'm sure it's the same with parking but someone who has a better experience may come tell you different.

Pretty sure that once you check out, your key card is disabled so you wouldn't be able to get into the HRH parking lot or if you did get in, you wouldn't be able to get out with your key card and would have to pay.

it is $20 for visitors to park at the onsite hotels for the day.
like Damo said, once you check out at rph, your room key is invalid.


it would be cheaper for you to leave your car at rph and use the water taxi to city walk, switch to hrh water taxi.




this is a new question for me.

if you are at rph and check out, you are allowed to stay and use the facilities, such as the pool and pool shower room at that hotel until you depart from the hotel that day.

if you check out and go to another pool, you would have to show your room key for the towels.

but then, if hrh doesn't scan the cards, you would not have any issues.


you would receive accurate information by calling the hotel now if you need to know in advance.
i don't know anyone that decided to pool hop after they checked out of the hotel.

We normally check out around 8-9 am. We put our stuff in the car and return to the parks. Sometimes we will stay until 1-3 or real late before we drive home. We have never had a problem with our key getting out of RPR parking lot. We have also gone by boat to HRH after check out to eat lunch and our son went swimming. Never once had a problem. I have never taken my car to any other hotel parking lot, since the boats are right there.

If you want to pool hopper after check out, either leave your car at the RPH since you will still be able to get out of that parking lot, or if you want to park at HRH you could alway valet for the few hours that you want to use the pool.
