i don't know how i am going to last until christmas when i surprise hubby and son and daughter in law with trip in may. i'm dying to use one of these photos for my desktop wallpaper but can't because hubby works with me. i am going to burst i am so excited. it looks beautiful and we have deluxe dining. yayayayayay!!!!!

I've not seen any photos posted here for a bit, so I thought I'd mention some Port Orleans Riverside 360-degree panoramas that I've recently created, including the marina area, the Ol' Man Island pool and the entrance lobby.

I don't think I can post them directly as scrollable images here, so check them out at my POR Panoramas Page. Oh, and there are even extra versions using Apple's Quicktime format too, for all those "Flash-challenged" souls among us (I do wish Apple would stop sticking their head in the sand and get their act together!).

I'm really pleased with the results anyway - next trip I'm going to spend a bit more time out and about around the resort with my tripod I think.

They look great in full screen by the way, just right-click anywhere on the image and select Fullscreen - let me know what you think.

Not for Riverside yet, no. There are pics of the POFQ rehabbed rooms though, which will presumably be fairly similar to the POR mansion buildings.

Odd, there has been no recent downtime that I'm aware of. What error do you get?

Do you see the pictures that I posted of the kids pool and playground a couple of messages up in this thread (post #853)? They are linked directly from portorleans.org, so if you can see them then your PC is getting data from the server OK.

Yes, I can see pictures posted to this site just fine. But when I try to get into your web page www.portorleans.org by either typing the address or connecting through a link I get the same message. It reads "Internet Explorer cannot open the website www.portorleans.org. Operation aborted." It forces me to close out. I have no clue why.
