We will be staying at at the cabins for two weeks in March. We have never stayed there before and I was hoping for some insight from others. We will have car, but we don't to be driving it all the time. I was wondering if there is a good section to request where we might be central and near things that would be considered nice to be near. Pools wouldn't be important to us in early March. I was looking at renting a golf cart but they are 70$ plus tax a day and that would add up really fast. Do you really need a golf cart? Is there a way to rent a golf cart from a company cheaper than using Disney? I know people rent campers from outside companies. We could stay at French Quarter for $1,000 cheaper. I'm not even sure it is worth the price difference? We will have a dog w/ us if we do stay at the cabins. I have never taken a dog to Disney before.

Any thoughts or suggestions are appreciated.

Thank you! I tried to search Fort Wilderess Information and Questions but nothing came up. I never thought it would have it on forum. I will ask over there.

I've never stayed in a cabin as we have our own motorhome. We have rented a golf cart from Disney at $67 a day and we have brought our own. We will always have a cart when there. We find it more convenient for quickly getting around than the internal buses. It's also fun to go looping and see what's going on in the other sites. Do you absolutely need a cart. Many people say no and it's up to you. Can you get a cart off site? Yes, and they are cheaper.
