Staying at DVC villa questions.

We are renting DVC points for the first time and will be staying in a studio room at the Beach Club. There will be 4 of us in the room. I know that with a DVC villa, they only clean the room on the 4th day of our stay. My questions are, will they only give us 4 of each towel to use for 4 days, or do they give you extra because they know it will be 4 days before you get more? I know they have free washers, but I don't really want to take time out to be doing laundry and I also know you can pay to get more, but just wondering if they give you extra up front. Second, since trash won't be taken until day 4, is there somewhere we can get rid of it everyday if we want? Thanks for any info.

They won't give you extra up front. We simply took towels from the pool on the way back to our room at night at BWV and then brought them back to the towel return in the morning. Worked perfectly.

As for the trash, I have no idea.

There will be a "Trash" room w/ a bin for trash and a bin for recyclables.

They don't "clean" the room on day 4. It is a Trash and Towel refresh only. The beds will not be changed or made, the bathroom cleaned etc. Beach Club Villas are a timeshare, not a hotel. The amenities are very different - thus the difference in nightly rates. This is what you are paying for.
If you need/want more towels you have to pay for them as well. They do not give you extra up front. They also ask that you not take pool towels to use in your room. I have read that these towels are processed differently.

I just returned from a 6 night stay at SSR THV. We also always rent points and have stayed at many other villas as well. On day 4 they replace the towels and take out the trash. They did not replace sheets or make the beds. To my knowledge they don't do a "full cleaning" either. We keep our villa neat, we make the beds in the morning and hang up our towels to dry at night after bathing, much like we do at home. In my opinion, it is not necessary to have a new towel every day, not sure if the OP meant they needed a new towel everyday or just a few more.
There are places to drop off trash and recycling.

This is correct. I thought the OP had a week stay.
On stays of 8 nights or longer they do a Full Cleaning on day 4 and Trash and Towel on day 8. This schedule continues for the length of stay.
For stays of 7 nights or less, it is only Trash and Towel on day 4.

With Trash & Towel service, Housekeeping will:
•Empty trash and replace liners in trash bins.
•Provide fresh bathroom linens.
•Replace bath amenities as needed.
•Replenish facial tissues, paper towels and toilet paper.
•Replenish coffee, sugar, cream and sweeteners.

Full Cleaning Service

For stays of 8 or more nights, Full-Cleaning Service is provided on day 4 and Trash & Towel Service is provided on day 8, regardless of whether you're using Member-discounted cash, vacation points or a combination of both. This process repeats for stays longer than 8 days.

That is very confusing. When I was at BWV last month, I noticed they have new wording on the hang tag in the bathroom, making it more clear.

If you rent from a member, it's considered a member reservation and limited housekeeping.
