Staying at Disneyland Hotel do you get Early Park Access? And Suggestions

Hi

Can someone please tell me if you get early access to the parks if you are staying at the Disneyland Hotel at the entrance to the park?

Are there any other benefits as we getting there Friday and ant find any info.

I have been told there is some kind of option for us to drop the cases off at the station and go to the park on Friday, where would I find info on this, would this check you into the hotel, do you get the park tickets at the station and is there a cost for this?

I booked all of this through Eurostar who gave little to no information.

Thanks in advance.

Any other suggestions on the best things to do over the weekend for a 7 year old, resteraunts, shows and so on.

you do get Extra Magic Hours, from 8am to 10am, when staying at any onsite hotel, including the Disneyland Hotel.

If you're going to be there over a weekend, you should plan a little, as the parks get very busy at weekends, with local guests etc. I'm sure the weekend/school holiday experts will have some valuable advice for you .

Usually with Eurostar you will be given your tickets etc on the train if departing from St Pancras or at Ashford station if leaving from there.

I think you are talking about Disney Express with regards to the luggage. If you have booked this then you will be given special luggage labels at the same time as you get your tickets. Put these on your cases and when you arrive go to the Disney Express check in on the first floor. They will take your bags and cases and take them to your hotel. You can now go straight to the park

About things to do, there is so much that you could do that you should really plan before you go, otherwise you will find you wont see as much as you would have liked.

As you're staying in the DisneyLand Hotel then a good place to eat is Inventions - this is a really good all you can eat buffet with various Disney characters visiting your table - but, you would need to book this now or as soon as your arrive as it can get very busy. Alternatively there is Cafe Mickey in the Disney Village - again you need to book this.

For shows, there is only one and that is Buffalo Bills - worth a visit IMO and can be booked with your concierge at the hotel.

Hi there, just wanted to add that the one time we went by Eurostar the queue for the Disney Express was very long (guess it depends where on the train you are and how quickly you get moving!) - as DLH is at the entrance of the park you may find it quicker to take your cases to the hotel yourself and check in straight away then just hop into the park.

I'd agree about Disney Express if you're staying at the DLH - its no hassle to just take your cases with you from the station to the hotel (its literally 2 minutes walk). Your cases will be scanned through security like at the airports, there is a separate line for this to the right as you walk through the security barriers at the entrance to the parks. If your room isn't yet ready, you'll get your park tickets when you check in, and can leave your cases in the luggage store at the hotel.
If you wish, on your last day you can pay I think its around 10euros to have your cases taken to the train station from your hotel, you pick up your cases from the Disney Express desk before you board the Eurostar for home. Just ask at the hotel when you check in if you'd like to do this.

As well as the Buffalo Bill show after the parks close, during park time there is Mickeys Winter Wonderland and Captain EO in the main park, plus Animagique, Cinemagique, Stitch Live, Art of Animation, Moteurs Stunts Action in the Studios. These are all free, and all (except for Captain EO which personally I've done once and won't be doing again) would be enjoyed by you and your 7-year old. All these show times will be on the park programme you will get when you check in at your hotel.
As its Christmas season, you'll have Fantillusion evening parade, Santas Grotto, tree and castle lighting ceremonies as well - definitely worth making the effort to see all of these, they are a magical part of DLP at Christmas . And of course, Santa joins the Once Upon a Dream parade too.
