We have stayed here before, we already know the issues this hotel has. But we LOVE the location and can't wait to stay here again. :thumbsup2

A little background, we are two adults (Mom and Daughter -me) and one child (my 9 year old dd princess:). We will be there in late January. Only two room options are available to us because we are using rewards points: 2 Doubles & the King w/hide-a-bed.

I have two questions:
1. We stayed in a Double room last time we were there. Should we try the King with hide-a-bed this time?
2. We have issues with noise, last time we stayed on the top floor near the pool and that was too loud. :headache: What is the quietest area of the BWPPI? Room numbers would also be very helpful. :goodvibes

I have stayed at all the rooms at the BWPPI and they are all comfortable.

As for your questions:

1. Most of the double bedrooms are right next to the pool and can be very noisy when people are in the pool. The King is a nice bedroom with a sofa bed, but the sofa bed is a little hard when you sleep on it. But you can easily fit two people on the bed. When I did King room, it was nice for three people in the room since you can use the sofa bed as another bed.

2. The back side of the hotel or in the middle between the pool and the end of the hotel (not in the center of the hotel since that is where the pool is). But most of those rooms are the kings or queen size rooms. If you do care about the noise, don't get a room right by the pool I would ask the front to get a room away from the pool.

We stayed in a king room with the hide a bed last summer (sorry, don't remember the room number--it was just first floor and faced parking area).

The hide a bed was SO uncomfortable for my daughter. She actually cried in the middle of the night (she is not a crier and normally will sleep any where at all) because it hurt her to sleep there. The next morning I sat on her pull out bed, and the springs were poking me like crazy and it was just so hard and uncomfortable. I felt so badly that she had to put up with that. It was also right next to the really loud and ineffective wall airconditioner unit, blowing cold, loud air on her all night.

So I would avoid those King rooms with the pull out beds if possible.

I didn't expect perfection from that motel (you get what you pay for--that I understand) but it was really so much worse than I had ever imagined.

Thank you both for the help. We'll probably stick with what we know and get the double room, even though we would love to have the couch for relaxing. But now I know to ask for the back side of the motel.

I think we all have our favorite places to stay. I'm a frugal person and can't quite make myself spend $$$ on an on-site hotel. So the location of the BWPPI (and the fact that it's clean & we have BW rewards points) works well for me. :goodvibes
