Staying at BLT, want a nice dinner at GF!

Me and my DH would like a really nice and romantic cozy date on our upcoming trip. We're staying at BLT and have ruled out Cali Grill b/c we've done it so many times and wanna try something new Plus, the view is not so taboo since we'll have the same view from our room.

We want somethign on the monorail. Was really excited about going to Victoria and Alberts but my hubby is NOT a fan of being told how to dress. Would ruin the meal for him to be in a jacket honestly. And I'm trying to pick something he'd really like. He'd do it for me if I asked- but I want us both to enjoy ourselves

So basically what I'm thinking is Citricos or Narcoosees.
The other options would be Grand Floridian Cafe, The Wave or Kona Cafe.
And we also could pick 2 places. We have a babysitter travelling with us and will have a few date nights.

My vote would be for Citricos. We ate there last Oct and loved it. Even my DH, who is a picky eater, would go back.

We really enjoyed Citricos for my birthday last year. My husband thought his pork was some of the best he had ever had (being from NC that's a big deal).

We really enjoyed Narcossees, not a ton of kids. Food was great. Kona and Grand Floridian Cafe are also great meals. I've never been to Citricos. Also have to add water view is great.

we neverate at Citricos. for the money, Grand Floridian Cafe is wonderful. I love narcosses, but I am a Lobster fan. however, the second time we ate there the drawn butter was NOT kept heated.
the server kind of ignored us. we were on the dining plan, and a table next to us was an 8 top, ordering bottles of wine, so they were his main priority. (as a server, I understand this.l but, as a customer, I expected more. tjis was when the tip was included in the ddp. (too bad the server didn't know that that the 18% that was included was less than I would ever pay, anyway. if he had given us a LITTLE bit of attention, I would have given him 25%)
I ordered the whole lobster, hubby the surf and turf., both were $59.00. 2 credits each.
it's a wonderful atmosphere.
for less money, though, the grand floridian cafe is pretty , also. a very good steak. (I can only account for a medium to medium rare steak. I serve at a steak house. if you order a steak mw to well, you might as well have a burger.)
or, order a prime rib, end cut.
if they say the steak is angus, ask if it's Certified angus.
If you like a filet mw, get it butterflied. if you order a filet MW or well, and they dont' ask you if you want it butterflied, expect the outside to be tough.(how can the inside be cooked through and the outside not to be charred?
the best filet is at Jikos ... yummy! best filet I EVER had!and don't be put off by the mac and cheese side dish. this is NOT your mom's mac and cheese!
out of the many restaurants at WDW we have eaten, Narcosses is the ONLY restaurant, over quite a few years, that I felt they "looked down on us" for having the DDP on free dining..
what a shame. we really enjoyed California grill, and since, at the time the 18% tip was included, we tipped our server at least 25%.

I would pick Citricos and Narcoossee's since you are considering two!

Both Citricos and Narcoossee's have excellent food and service. You can go out on the deck at Narcoossee's to watch Wishes, but since it sounds like that isn't a big deal to you I'd go with Citricos. The other suggestion would be to take a look at their menus and see which would be more appealing to your tastes. Enjoy!

If two, then Citricos and Narcoossee's.
IF just one, Citrico's--it's a much better restaurant and as you suggest ,the "view" isn't a factor.

Of those you have suggested I'd go with either Narcoosees or Citricos. I would suggest you also consider Artist Point - a nice romantic boat ride to the Wilderness Lodge and a lovely meal

Out of the ones you listed, I haven't tried Kona so don't have an opinion yet, Didn't care for the Wave at all. Loved Grand Floridian Cafe! Will definitely return there for dinner again.
