We will be arriving at the Beach Club around 6pm or so our first night. Do they have something like Roaring Fork there? We will most likely just want to grab something quick and then walk around the Beach Club that first night. Any suggestions?

Any help is appreciated.::yes::

This is what I found on Deb's site:

Beaches and Cream is a '50s-type shop serving burgers, hot dogs, soups, grilled cheese, and of course ice cream. It is small and noisy but fun. There is also "To Go" line and most menu items can be carried out. There are a few small tables and chairs outside Beaches and Cream you can also sit at. Don't be surprised to encounter waits for a seat inside. You will be given a pager. Do check, though, because seating is sometimes available at the counter.

The Cape May Cafe hosts a daily character breakfast buffet (7:30 - 11:00) featuring Beachy Goofy and his friends. In the evening, the Cafe hosts a Sea Lovers buffet known as the Clam Bake! No characters are at dinner. Both buffets are very good!

You might also consider eating somewhere on the Boardwalk. Here is a link to some info on that area...

Depending on which day of the week you arrive, there may be a long wait for Beaches & Cream, which I believe does not take PS. It's a very small restaurant with few tables. I'm not sure about other "quick bite" options at BC; I'd like to know, too!

You can eat relatively quickly (although both are still sit down restaurants) at the Yacht Club Galley or the Crew's Cup (the lounge next to the Yachtsman Steakhouse). These are both at the Yacht Club, but only steps from the Beach Club.

In addition, the Boardwalk (a bit further walk from the BC) has a couple quick sit down restaurants (ESPN Club, Big River Brewery), as well as a pizza window near Spoodles.

In the Dolphin theres a buffeteria called Tubbi's. Similar to roaring forks Quick serve lots of choices.

Good question. Unfortunately, this is one spot that the BC fails. Yes, there is Beaches & Cream, one of my favorite places to get a burger -- but its usually crowded and thus you will probably have a long wait.

You could walk around the lake to Boardwalk and get something at the take-out window at Spoodles.
