Staying at AKL and park ticket start day

Hi I am staying at AKL but do not arrive from the UK until late evening, planning on buying 14 day ultimate ticket can I start this ticket from the next day or do I need park ticket for stay at AKL, just seems a waste of one day as will not go into park on the arrival day where as could go in for a short while on the last day, hope this is clear.

Your tickets will be activated whenever you first enter a park.

This is a common question from people who only went to Disneyland Paris, where tickets are associated with the room booking.

In Disneyworld, your room reservation and tickets are 2 separate entities.

You choose when your tickets are activated. The tickets expire 14 days after the first time you enter a theme park. If you choose to only go to the parks for the first time on day 3, you still have 14 days on your ultimate tickets
