Staying at 3 resorts already is 4 too much?

Were staying 5 nights AKL, 4 nights GF and POFQ 12 nights. We have been thinking about only having 8 nights at POFQ and then staying the other 4 at another Deluxe. Is this a crazy idea...would it be a bad idea changing from resort to resort?

We have been thinking that if we did go for the idea then we'd like to stay at YC or WL...what do you think?

Thanks :flower:

If you check out and have something to do every day till after 3 on those days its no big deal. If you sit around waiting for a room hoping for it to get ready early and waste hours then its kind of a wasted day. We switch all the time, but plan accordingly.

I like the pool at the BC. That many days into your vacation , lounging at the pool might be nice. Any children? What ages?

Maybe a stay at a DVC resort would be nice? Having a small kitchen would give you a break from all the restaurants. BW or BC Villas would give you a nice stay at an Epcot Resort - If you could swing a 1 BR it would give you a chance to do some laundry! The free laundry for the studios is also very convenient :)

:flower: No..we dont have any children. It's our Disney wedding/Honeymoon trip so we want to make it as special as possible

A 1 br DVC Unit would have a whirlpool tub

Check to see if you can rent through an owner - if it's too late for that CRO also has some in their inventory

We love staying at the different resorts as much as visiting the parks. Each one is special. We are actually leaving on Thursday for a 5 night visit and we are staying 2 nights at CBR, 1 night at BWV, 1 night at OKW, and one night at Disney's Vero Beach resort. So we have 4 resorts in 5 nights.

I would NOT suggest this to anyone, but we have a 'goal' of staying at each Disney resort at least once, and, as I said, visiting the different resorts is as much fun as visiting the parks.

It is important to have something to do each day until check in time so you aren't sitting around waiting. We have that planned, so we will be fine. Going to DTD is a good way to spend part of a day.

So I would say Go For It! Have fun at all of your resorts!

Hats off the anyone who can afford 21 days at Deluxes!!! WL is a must if you can do all of this. Congrats.

Do you plan to unpack at each resort?

After a while I would get confused on what bus to get on? :teeth:

GO FOR IT! As much as I love WL, I think I would choose something in the Boardwalk area (YC, BC, BWI) just to round out your stay. Have a fabulous wedding and honeymoon! :love2:

I would say since you are doing AKL (near AK) GF (near MK) and then some at POFQ, I would suggest like others have, staying at either the YC, BC or BW since they are right near Epcot. World Showcase is VERY romantic and it would be nice to just stroll over there for dinners and such. The Boardwalk has my favo Jellyrolls and there is a dance club there too. I would probably pick YC (access to Storm Along Bay) yet more adult oriented then BC. BW is also a wonderful place too. It sounds like a wonderful time :flower:

Since each of your stays are longer than 2 nights, I would say go for it! It would be great to try out different resortsto see which ones you like. Just make sureto make a note each day ofwhich restort you are staying at. Sounds silly but you may be quite confused after moving around that much!

Congrats & have a wonderful honeymoon! :groom: princess:

we are doing the same thing but 3 resorts for 10 nites and im also thinking of 4 sqeezing in another resort somewhere im gonna drive my hubby nuts yet. and yes i live out of my suitcase anyways i say go for it :cool1: :cool1: :cool1:

21 days! AWESOME! Do it! This is the first trip where we're going to switch resorts (SSR to BCV). I think it's only worth it if you're going to stay 2 or more nights at the new resort. You've covered that, so do it!

YC, BC, or BWI would allbe great choices. If you're looking for a 5th resort, let me recommend CSR. Great place, very romantic and beautiful.

Go for it! And as much as I loved WL, I would recommend an Epcot area resort. My #1 suggestion would be BWI - concierge if you can swing it :teeth: :cloud9:
Congratulations and enjoy :Pinkbounc

If I were you I would extend the GF & AKL stays - I wouldnt move more than twice
DS13 & I are going for 14nights in Aug - we're staying 8nights at VWL and 6nights at BCV

I agree with this. However, I do think 5 nights is a nice amount of time at a resort. Maybe add a night at GF but still split up your POFQ stay~
DD and I are spending 14 nights in July/August and are splitting it 7-AKL and 7-GF. Can't wait!!
Good luck :wizard:

:rotfl2: I only stay at one resort each time and still get confused! :rotfl:

Hey, if you can manage all those resorts...more power to ya! :)

Maybe one week at each resort, but anymore than that I wouldn't. We did our first split stay last month (just two resorts) and I wish we hadn't. I was happy to try another resort, but the packing and unpacking and checking in twice, double tipping EVERYONE . . . TOO MUCH!!! (It didn't have anything to do with the four children, they are not babies and packed and unpacked their own things.)

BTW: Disney was GREAT with collecting the luggage and transferring it to the second resort, then the second resort delivering it to our new rooms. Have fun whatever you decide!!
