Staying at 2 resorts

What is the easiest way to get from one resort to another when you are doing a split stay? Do you waste alot of time checking in and out of each resort?

We have twice moved resorts and they moved our baggage for us AND BOTH TIMES LOST IT!!!!! My husband had to go to the baggage storage rooms and search himself, and eventually found it. After this, we would always move our things ourselves as we wasted a lot of time.

a few yrs ago I moved 3 times in 6 days. I moved my luggage myself ( I am a light pakers, only take what I need( and it wasn't bad at all. I wanna do it again this yr but my travel partner ( my son 21) said no he rather just stay the 7 nights at the BWI. Moving from hotel to hotel isnt bad, but remeber I have no little kids so it was easy

I did it three thime between Dec 25 and Jan 2 this year and since we had a car it was no hassle as luggage could be left in the car if needed and then get in the room whenever. I got up early each time and went and checked in at the next place while my son slept on. We were extrememly lucky in that rooms were ready at 8 am the first time (OKW GV) and 2nd change was to BCV so we just hung around the pool and went over to boardwald as it was New Year's Day and everyone just wanted to relax. Also I never had to wait in line to check in that early- just had to wait for the room the one time. I always use express checkout so don't have to go to the desk when I leave unless soemthing shows up on the bill that I question. They just leave the bill hanging on the door or slide it under and you can just leave. A lot oif people who have posted say they never have a problem with Disney moving the luggage so good luck with your decision.
