Hi! My DD (age 12) and I (mom, age  ) are going on our first girls only DW trip. We will be staying the first two nights at CSR (1st time) visiting with my brother and his family who are staying there. It will be fun for my DD to spend time with her cousins. We are arriving on a Tues at noon and departing Sat. around 10a.m. My brother and his family are leaving early Fri morning. My dilemma is whether or not to switch resorts on Thurs, since they are leaving Fri morn. I am considering a switch to the Poly conc.(have stayed there numerous times), I guess I am thinking that the MK is her fav park, and since her cousins are leaving, it will be really easy to go back and forth as we choose. Anyway, I guess it all boils down to whether or not we should stay all 4 nights at CSR, or switch to the Poly after 2 nights. Never switched resorts before and don't know what kind of a pain it would be especially for such a short time. Also....if we do switch resorts, transportation will not be a problem, as my brother will have a car. Sorry so long and confusing:confused: Any advise would be appreciated. Thanks, Tracey

Hoosier,

I am also going on a girls only trip with my DDs although they are a little younger, almost 3 & 6. We too are staying at CSR for 5 nites. My DH has dubbed this trip, "A DELUXE KINDA GAL GOES MOD!". After all the research I've done, I'm confident with my choice of resorts for this particular getaway. As far as switching, it is just my opinion, that 4 nites is too short a trip to switch. We have only done this once and it was on a 9 nite trip. We did Poly conc. for 6 nites and switched over to AKL for just some down time and relaxation. Whatever you decide, have fun.

I think 4 nights is a little too short of a trip to switch. Plus, you'll love CSR. It's a great resort. And, since transportation isn't an issue...I'd say this time stick with CSR. Switch resorts when you're there for a longer stay.

I've never done the switch thing either - but we're going to do it on our next trip in less than 3 weeks. Staying at WL for 3 nights and YC for 4 nights.

IMO, your time is too short to spend a good portion of your 3rd day moving. You'll be much happier staying at CSR, plus you can buy a refillable mug on your first day and get your money out of it :).

We stayed last summer at Coronado Springs and it was lovely. The pool is one of the best at WDW, with a wonderful, gentle slideand a huge hot tub. The lake is beautiful at night. The grounds are lovely and the rooms are colorful and festive. Our room was spotless.

Moving is exciting but can be stressful. They will move your luggage for you but it may take time. Check-in takes a bit of your time too. Advice here that your trip may be too short for a move, is probably good. That said, Poly Conceirge may be worth it! If you do opt to move, pack a small bag with "must have's" in case your luggage is delayed.

Sounds like a great trip. Enjoy! Let us back here in Indiana know how it went!

On our trip to Disney in '98 - we stayed at WL for three nights then switched to Boardwalk for the next four nights. What a PAIN!!! Packing again, checking in! I wouldn't do it again. Once I'm settled in - I don't want to have to pack again until it's time to leave. My advise would be to stay put and have fun!!!

Thanks to everyone for the advice. Looks like the general concensus is to stay put. I love the "Deluxe Kinda Gal Goes Mod" motto!!! Tracey
