Staybridge Suites - LBV

We are staying at the Staybridge Suites - LAKE BUENA VISTA on Suiteside Drive for a week in October.. It was just completely remodeled and we got a great rate for the week. 1 bedroom, 2 adult 6 day hoppers and 7 nights for $1300.

Can anyone tell me how close this really is to Downtown Disney and also to the parks? Anything else that anyone can share would be great also.

We had it reserved for last year and ended up cancelling because we stayed on-site - but I did drive by earlier in the year when we were down there just to make sure we'd be okay with it. From what I remember, it's pretty close. You leave the main gate (well, the entrance by Downtown Disney) and turn left, and it's not that far down the road. From the outside, it looked fine to me. There are plenty of restaurants around there too.

We stayed there before it changed to Staybrigde because we got a rate of $100/night for a 2 BR. I love that location generally. It is not far from the Crossroads shopping center right across from the entrance to the Downtown Disney Hotels/DTD road. I loved having a Winn Dixie right next door (and a Pizza Hut), the pool was nice, and at the time we got a free breakfast. It was a great place for us, and if it has been remodeled, my guess is it is even nicer! Have fun!

We have stayed there 3 times. My family loves this resort! You are just a stones throw away from DTD, and can save lots of money eating outside of the parks, not to mention the free continental breakfast! Go and have a great time!(I am so jealous!)

Thanks everyone, this has surely made me feel better.. I forgot to mention that yes there is free breakfast so we save there as well..

We were going to stay on-site but since its just DH and myself we don't mind being off site, besides as much as I love the man, a week in a small hotel room with no escape would kill me LOL, he is a morning person, me a night owl so having the seperate living room will work great for us.

StayBridge Suites are some of the best hotels around!!! You will not be disappointed. The LBV StayBridge is about .5 mile from the entrance to DTD. Their free breakfast is great and you will love the full kitchen facilities. It is a great hotel for families. Far better than any on-site Disney hotel for the money. Good Choice.
