Many posts complain SSR is too condo like and too far away from the parks, so it's not a place they want to stay. But apparently it is a place they want to swim. I have read many posts about people wanting to pool hop to SSR.
well, I feel that why should those of us staying at SSR have to fight against non SSR guests for a space in the pool? SSR isn't good enough for them to stay as a guest, but they can come monopolize our pool?
just a thought?
The only resorts you need to "stay at" in order to use the pools are AK and BC/V. As a member you can enjoy any other pool you want (within the rules), including SSR and POLY and GF etc. Those guests may think the same thing as the OP but thats the way it is for now. SSR is new so a lot of folks may want to check out the pool, but I doubt its "monopolized" any more than VWL/POLY/BWV-weve all seen pictures and it aint no SAB, certainly nothing to go way out of the way for. For us pool hopping is usually just a break from a park during a hot summer day. If we are at BCV, and spend a whole day at MK-we may jump on the monorail to POLY or GF for a few hours from the 90 degree heat-then back to MK for the evening. If we are at VWL, we may do EPCOT in the AM-walk to BWV and swim/relax-then walk over to MGM for the evening. We would not pool hop somewhere thats not convenient.
