Stay on the ship while at Nassau

Just a question,
We are cuising in January and if we get off the ship in Nassau and don't like it after an hour or so can we then get back on and does getting back on the ship involve a lot of fuss and time?

Getting back on the ship is very easy. I'm sure you'll like Nassau though. Go over to Atlantis. It's beautiful..and the beach there is gorgeous. We didn't get to Atlantis this time though, we just walked through Nassau.

Nassau's never been one of my favorites, but it's fun for a short shore jaunt. I avoid the straw market and just walk the roads to people watch, and there IS stuff to do off the beaten path if you're the adventurous sort. Everyone should try it at least once, just to say they did, then hop back on the boat for more relaxing time.

I realize I didn't see much of Nassau and to be fair, should take in more of the island next time, but from what I did see I have no desire to go back.
