Status on wireless at VB ?

They were supposed to get resort wide wireless installed like HHI by last summer. I haven't heard anyone talking about it. Anybody know what the status it?

I can tell yu that we were there in mid-October and all my DD16 did was complain about the lack of access!

Hey Lady... Not what I wanted to hear. I kind of thought I would hear SOMEONE talking about it if it had been done. I just don't get what is taking sooo long.

We were there in early January and it was only avaiable in the lobby still.

I think I'm going to start bugging them with phone calls weekly. I invite everyone to do the same.

Actually, it is not such a big deal for me because I have a G3 card that receives a good signal at VB, but local wireless is faster... and they said they would have it by summer of last year. VB and HHI had the same schedule. HHI has it.

there's still hope.

This from MS as of today:

We are pleased to announce that fees associated with daily High Speed
Internet Access (HSIA) for Members staying at a Disney Vacation Club
Resort using their Membership have been discontinued.

Disney's Hilton Head Island Resort has had wireless HSIA installed in
their guest rooms and Disney's Vero Beach Resort will add this access in
2009 (exact date not yet determined).

I can also add that as of Nov. of '08, BC's had the rough wireing of cat 5 and fiber had been installed.
