Station Fire, RI - 2003

With the CA wildfire now having the same name, Station Fire, and it being all over the news, it makes my heart stop for a second again every time they say the name. Thinking of the 100 people that died that night in a matter of minutes in 2003 in Warwick RI's Station Nightclub Fire.

Oh my...I totally agree with you. My family was living in MA and my DS was attending Providence College, RI at the time of the Station Club fire and one of his Prof's lost his daughter in the that horrific fire.....AND now we are all living here in SoCal and EVERY SINGLE TIME they say the Station fire....like you, I think of that fire back in 2003.

To be honest with you, I don't even know why it is called the Station fire.


Please everyone pray for all our firefighters battling these fires as well as all homeowners that are losing their homes and all their possessions.

I'm with you, Silent.

I knew one of the victims of that fire. Her husband survived but he was severely burned and is now disabled. Their daughter lost her mother and now has a father who is emotionally wrecked because he lived but was unable to save his wife.


Prayers to everyone effected by both of the Station fires.
