We are looking to stay in stateroom 2004 on the Magic. I heard that the rooms 2000-2004/2500-2504 on the Magic/Wonder are larger than the average oceanview due to the curvature of the ship. I was reading reviews but was curious if anyone had photos or other feedback-pro or con.

Thanks so much!:)

I can't answer your question....but if you cruise after October 2019, I'll be able to offer insight. My family and I have booked staterooms 2000-2006 on the Wonder, and our understanding is the same as yours, the first few rooms will have a little extra room from the curve of the ship. Fingers crossed that's accurate.

Our friends were in 2500 on the Wonder (we were further down the hall). It is larger than a standard ocean view and it may have even had an extra chair IIRC. They did comment that they felt the motion of the ship being so far forward.

Have a wonderful cruise in October!! Yes! I would love to know what the rooms are like for you if you don't mind reporting back ;)!

We just stayed in the block of rooms 2500, 2502, 2504, and 2506 on the Wonder. The rooms 2500 & 2506 were the same size, not any bigger than the standard room. Room 2502 had extra space between the sofa and the window. Enough room to put a pack/n/play there. Room 2504 did have the chair between the bed and the sofa. We moved that elsewhere and used that space for a pack n play also.

It's also fairly quiet in 2004... there's only one stateroom further forward. There are cast member rooms beyond, but there's a door separating them from the main staterooms. The cast members were pretty much the only foot traffic down that hall. It's just a short walk to the forward elevators and stairs, so a quick trip up to decks three and four - very convenient!
