Hi,
Doing some early checking for a possible cruise in March of next year, and for the categories we're looking at, I keep seeing "Sleeps 3 (some sleep 4)". We're probably going to go with either a Cat. 9 or inside with a Cat. 10.
We're a family of 4, and what would be the difference from a room that sleeps 3 to one that sleeps 4? Is it something that we need to request when booking?

I know it's a rather dumb question, but when we first cruised in '99, it was just the 3 of us, and space wasn't really an issue then.

Thanks in advance!

When you book they will ask for the names and ages of everyone. You will be booked into a cabin that sleeps 4. They are the same size, but the 4th bed will unfold from the ceiling over the single sofa bed to form a sort of "bunk" bed thing.
