Pretty simple question... approximately what time does the Stateroom Host stop by in the AM and PM? We will be on the Wish soon and just trying to plan naps. Thanks.

They are amazing at coming in while you're out! We leave the do not disturb sign on until everyone has left the room for the morning...closer to noon on sea days with my 18/22 year olds. For the night one they come during your scheduled dining time.

They keep an eye out for you leaving your room in the morning and often ask what your plans are for the day, so they can try to get your room cleaned while you are out. Generally, that morning cleaning has happened between 8:30 and 10:30 for us, at least on days when we are on the ship and popping in and out of the room to note the time.

The evening cleaning and bed set up happens during your dinner.

That might be so for guests with first seating, but it's never been that way for us. We always choose second seating. After the show, we usually head up to our room to freshen up a bit before dinner and by then the host has already come and fixed up the room and left our towel animal and chocolates.

We always do late seating and usually our host will come once we leave for dinner. We leave the sign up until the last one of us leaves the room. Unless of course we are talking about the time my DS forgot to take it off and we were calling housekeeping around midnight to get his bed pulled down from the ceiling. :sad2: :teeth:

Really depends on your host. Most will keep an eye out for you leaving and clean it ASAP.

I had one guy on the Fantasy in June who would not clean until like 1-2pm and it was SO frustrating.

We had late seating and we also came back to the room after the show and our room was never served yet. Always during dinner. Maybe just depends on the State Room attendant.

The host will work around whatever schedule you set. They will come in the morning when you go to breakfast. At night they will come while you are out for dinner. They know when you are out of the stateroom by the magnet you put on your door.

I agree with all of the above. In terms of naps, I have found that it’s almost HARD to find a stateroom host in the afternoon. They often get a break during that time as well as do all their behind the scenes work.
