Are gel window clings allowed on the verandah door or porthole windows on DCL?

And are they allowed on resort room windows at WDW?

Do you have any other DIY decorating suggestions for 12 year old birthday on the ship?

I know the window clings are allowed on the glass doors /porthole of the ship bc they are sold in some of the celebration packages you can buy from gifts and amenities on line for your stateroom. The ceilings and some walls are metal, so you can hang streamers with magnets from the ceiling of your stateroom in most cases. If you check out some of the room decoration packages , you can get more ideas of what you can do. I am going to try and duplicate the Finding Dory package for my girls. I've purchased some party store items (Dory and Nemo streamers and centerpiece) along with a Finding Dory blanket and pillow. You can also order a cake! Have fun!

FYI - Target had some disney-themed window gels in their dollar spot tonight - including Dory. I think they were $3.

I went a little crazy between the Disney and the St Patrick's Day items.
