Stateroom change from 7564 to 8012..Good or Bad?

Just checked my ressie for our 3 night on May 15 and my stateroom has changed...it was 7564 and is now 8012....

Is this a good thing or a bad thing????

Looks good to me! Category5 to a Category 4. The cabin is bigger to accomodate the extra murphy bed. The only problem you may have is noise from the deck above early in the morning when the crew seems to want to move deck chairs all around. It looks like you're by the spa so perhaps this won't be an issue.

we had 8002 and loved the location , u felt like u where up with the royalty on deck 8 and kept running in performers who where stayying up there also.... peter

How many performers did you have to share your cabin with? Too cozy for my taste...

You will be far enough away from the bridge that you won't even know that it is there. Other than the room being bigger, another good thing is that you are very close to the forward elevators, which are far less crowded than the mid-ship and the aft. You may have some noise from above when the crew cleans and moves the chairs in the morning, at first we were startled (not knowing what the noise was) but once we knew what it was, it didn't bother us....and you're farther forward than we were, so there may not be as much "chair noise". You also will be able to just walk up one flight of stairs to get to the deck parties...no wait at the elevator...and I think you'll be far enough forward to not have the party noise bother you (with the verandah door shut) if you are in your room at that time.
