Stateroom 8578

Taking our first Disney Cruise Apr 15 - 3 night Wonder to the Bahama's.

Their's 5 of us (Me, DH, 3 boys 10, 12, 14)

8578 is our Stateroom assignment and I noticed by looking at the deckplan that it is near the elevator - do you think we will have a noise problem here.

Any comments on this room or location. It is a Category 4 - has any category 4 rooms ever been upgraded to a 3?

We have stayed in 8586 and had no issues with hall noise but did notice the chairs being moved in the morning for cleaning (or for whatever reason) but nothing to be alarmed about. I can't answer your upgrade question other than to say in 3 cruises (cat 10, 6 and 4) we have never been upgraded.
