Startled the Husband with my Victory Run around the room.

I booked my two HoJo rooms for a late June trip several months ago with little hope of ever seeing any entertainment rates. Still, I checked their site twice a day every day and last night… well there they were. A full entertainment discount for all 7 nights. One hundred percent of our trip.

I couldn’t help myself. I jumped up, threw my arms in the air, started screaming silently (it was 11:50pm), and trotted around the room like a maniacal Disney beast. Yes it was overkill but I was getting very worried about 2 of my sisters being able to afford this trip. Now I am feeling much better.

I purchased all our tickets and transfers last week and now the hotel is taken care of so all I have left to do is "pack n pace". Starting to get excited.

I, too, have been so excited about being able to change our June 23-29th trip from the AAA rate to the entertainment rate. We have 2 rooms so it was like all of a sudden getting one the rooms free HoJos rocks!

I don't think I should have such large gaps between Disneyland trips. This will have been 6+ years and it has made me a little nuts.

But sadly, I had already booked a different hotel through GAT. When I saw they put late June up, I did some calculations, but sadly with the GAT cancellation fee, it would end up being more if I switched to Hojo. Why didn't I wait?

Oh well, hopefully we'll spot each other in the parks! And I'll jealously watch you walk back to Hojo while I have to wait for the ART.

When I read someone's post about the ent rate at HOJOs, I actually put my arms up in a "V" like Billy Blanks does at the end of his extremely hard Tae Bo tapes and yelled out "Victory!!"

I did a victory dance for two days straight when they were running a special on their website and I was able to get a 20% discount on my reservation for Sept. At home, at work, where ever I happened to go, I did a victory dance. Atleast you didn't have strangers looking at you like you were nuts as you danced down the frozen food section.

I promise I will join you in your victory dance if our first and last nights show up at the Entertainment rate. We also are needing two rooms. I would be SO happy to have the lower rate!!!

Oh thats too funny. I can imagine your husbands face. I would be shocked too if someone did that at 11:30pm. Although I would do the same if I were you. Any discount is fantastic, and helps tremendously.

He was very shocked and I ran two laps around the room before I stopped and told him why. He said my face looked like I was in pain.

He is my super frugal guy so he too was pleased. He did not, on the other hand, join me in my victory laps. I was hoping for even a couple of days but when the whole trip popped up all at once I was beside myself.

I would have done the same. In fact we saved 1400 dollars in airfare to WDW for this dec and I couldn't stop dancing and smiling for 2 days! Glad your dates popped up!
