i currently own a 160 ssr resale bought at 61 a point and a 30 at BWV bought direct for 110 a point and a 30 VWL bought at 103 a point direct also. so i have 220 points. i am about 80 points away i want to be able to get a 2 bedroom every year for the ability to bring family each time. Looks like direct prices are around 130 for the classic resorts and 80 to 90 resale for that size contract. just not sure what to do would love to buy say the new poly but i am sure that will be 165 a point and that is a big nut even for 80 points 13,000 bucks. my use year is Sept so no point into rushing into something now at least with disney direct i can piece it together 25 at a time. i really wish you could buy like 5 points at a time lol i would be buying points on the REG!

Two cures for the itch. 1-Annual dues. 2-The first time you plan a vacation with family in a two bedroom and they decide they can't/won't go at the last minute, leaving you holding the bag. Or they do go and complain the entire time. Or they think you are also buying their park admission. Or they gripe because their bed isn't made every day.

I hear you, Deb & Bill. We decided to buy because WE like to go. If our kids and grandkids want to go, great. But if not, DH & I will go and enjoy some time together.

With 3 resorts & possibly 4, you are going to have to book your two bedroom at 7 months. Just keep in mind that depending on when you travel, you may not get your first choice of resort and/or booking category if you have to wait for the 7 month window to book.

Yeah your right it's already pointless the way I did it this time I have now booked 3 vacations at the 7th month window. My next goal is last week in AUG 2015. I have had good luck so far but have not gone for bay lake or grand Floridian at the 7th month. Wish I had the cash and foresight back when I bought the first 160 resale.
