We leave on 3-29. Staying offsite until 4-5. 4 Day passes for WDW and 3 day for univeral.

I am getting so excited...and nervous....especially about disney world....

I am reading, reading, reading....the DIS boards....sometimes it makes me calm...other times it makes me CRAZY!! LOL!!!

So....
My plan is to do Universal Sunday and Monday. Then due MK on tuesday, HS on Wednesday, Epcot on Thursday and AK on friday. Going back to Uni on either wed or th splitting days.

I am getting weirded out about FP+
I am looking for a touring plan....any suggestions....to help me with Disney.

Right now I am thinking for MK....go at RD head to fantasyland...do peter pan and Pooh then head toward tomorrowland...ride space mountain, while my MIL can do the FP+ for later in the day...for splash mtn, and whatever else the kiddos deem necessary....then just kinda go from there with the flow.

I am freaking out about parades...I definitely want to see them...but do I need to FP them? Can we find a decent viewing area if we just kinda wing it?

Last time we were there we saw wishes from the bridge from tomorrowland....we just were on our way out and I demanded we stop and watch....tink flew right over us...and of course wishes was amazing....so after that my party listened when I said...I wanna see the parades etc...

We have not seen Fantasmic, or Illuminations...so I am hoping to do those as well....

I am rambling...I apologize! So any tips on a touring plan?

In the meantime...I will keep reading and taking notes!!!

Where to start...

I see that you're going essentially the first week in April, which is the height of Spring break.
My suggestion is to get to every park at RD and hit up the long-wait rides immediately. FYI - when I was at MK in Feb, there were CMs wandering the crowds before rope drop helping people with their FP+ selections. You might want to take advantage of that while you're just standing there.

MK: Do space mountain first, then Buzz. When I was just there, Space had a long line at rope drop that just gets longer. Afterward, go to the nearest FP+ kiosk and set up FP+ for the day, which should include the other mountains and Pan. (Is Splash open by then?)

OR, do Fantasyland first (Pan, Pooh) and then head to Storybook Circus to do your FP+ for the day, which should include the mountains.

For your possible 1/2 day parks Wed and Thur, I would get to both parks at Rope Drop and make your FP+ for the tiered rides that you can, for 11:00am or later. Then do the other headliners between 9-10:30am.

Enjoy the excitement. Embrace the rush. You are doing fine and it's nice to plan things out, especially if it helps you to be more flexible when faced with unexpected occurrences like weird weather, long waits or the unexpected no-wait! :)

My DH loves the planning to the fine tuned degree and yet when we get there he becomes an 11 year old with all the energy!

You're going to have so much fun!!!

My only suggestion would be to schedule some down time in there. If you don't have the time to schedule an entire park-free day, at least try to take some mid-day breaks. That's a LOT of theme park-ing!!

But have a great time, and planning is at least half the fun, at least for me it is! ;)

Thanks everyone!
This makes me feel better. I was starting to get all panicky about having to plan rides and every meal....but I need to just enjoy myself.

I kept saying I was going to panic, just enjoy what we can....well...LOL!!! the disney planning bug got me!
