Starting to Freak!

OK leave in 3 days for our VERY FIRST TRIP, no DME tags.....fine. Now my concern is that our flight doesn't get into MCO until 10:15 pm. Stuff packed in carry-on just in case they are lost all together. I am a single mom traveling with Sons 9 and 12.

Now Questions:

Do I use the ME service knowing bags won't show till wee hours?

Do I book a limo to POP? If so how much is that?

Any help or insight would be great.

You'll be fine, don't worry. I haven't used DME yet, but I do have a suggestion for you if you do use it. Make sure your carry on luggage contains any item you need for the first 24 hours. That way you won't be dependent on your luggage.

If you do get a towncar they run about $80-$100 for a round trip.

You're going to have a great trip, you're just experiencing anxiety because it's your first time. Once you get there, you'll be fine!

I believe you can go get your luggage & take it on the bus.

I would just collect my luggage at baggage claim and then head over to the ME welcome counter to load a bus WITH my luggage so I don't have to worry about receiving luggage at the hotel several hours after arrival. The ME delay in luggage arrival works fine during the day (because you can head off to the parks) but not at night when you want to sleep.

Thanks for your support. I am not counting on it because to top EVERYTHING off, we moved and have mail forwarded and Disney didn't get new address into their system for the ME. Everything is was fine! I will plan to get bags maybe, or just use the carry-ons. Either way not going to fret anymore.

Between moving and getting ready for the trip it's enough. Today is officially, whatever is going to happen is going to happen day (care to join the dance?)

We have already taken the whatever is going to happen is going to happen attitude. We leave in 5 days. DW and I are both teachers and are finishing up the school year on Friday. We then have a dance recital rehearsal for our girls Friday night, dance recitals on Sat and Sun (with many grandparents and relatives staying with us until Sunday) and we leave Monday! If we forget something, we can buy it in Florida!

I got my tags yesterday and we leave today. Thank goodness I forgot to reset my thermostat and had to go back to the house before leaving town! There was my wonderful packet. I checked the info on the tag and they sent it out on June 7th!

Maybe I could say there an extra week or two and get a temp job sending out packets!!!

Getting on the plane in a few hours!!!!!!!!!!!!
