Starting Over...

I have never been one to post a journal online. I have been on WISH (on & off) for many years. Well once again I let life interfer with taking time for ME so now I am starting over.

The good news is that I am still 50 pounds less than I was at my highest.

The bad new is that I am 25 pound more than I was at my lowest.

So now I am recommitting myself to a healthy lifestyle. Taking time for me and exercising (2 times a day). Each morning the dog & I go for a walk, just shy of 2 miles / 30 - 35 min walk. Each evening I will either do a 45 min in home walking tape or the evening dog walk (my daughter's suppose to do it but you know teens).

I am journaling my food again..weighing & measuring everything. My calorie range is 1200 - 1500. This should allow for about 2 pound weight loss per week.
 
Today was a good day my calories are just over 1200 for the day. I did my monrning walk and then took a 40 min walk with my daughter & the dog to Starbucks. I had planned on doing a walking dvd but she "needed" Starbucks. I got an iced coffee w/ sugar free syrup so it was only 10 calories. Though I ended up adding some milk at home bringing it up to about 35 calories.

Tomorrow is my long working day. Tuesday's I work 10 - 12 hours . Splitting my time between my admin duties and my managerial/bar tending duties. The bad news is that I usually don't have time to do an evening workout. The good news is that I usually come home with cash in my pocket. Of course cash in my pocket could be a not so good thing...because this is usually my Starbucks money. Starbucks is one of my down falls.

I have my lunch all made. Salad, carrots, jicima, cottage cheese, strawberrys & grapes. I then plan on having Subway or something simular for dinner. A 6" veggie is my regular, as I am not a fan of Subway meats.
 
I have had two good days. YEAH ME!

Yesterday, I got up and walked the dog. Then had a bowl of cereal for breakfast. Took my lunch with me, as planned. Added some pretzel at the bar. Had my subway dinner. No evening exercise due to not getting home until nearly 8pm. Worked 10 hours yesterday. A long BUSY day.

Today, again I got up and walked the dog. Another bowl of cereal for lunch. Busy day at work and running my daughter around. Had a deli sandwhich for lunch, split with daughter. Not sure how to get an accurate calorie count so I am guessing at 500. Just couldn't fathom cooking dinner so we ended up at Taco Bell...a Taco salad w/o the shell, salsa & chili-lime strips for 350 calories. Did a 4 mile in home walk & took the dog for his evening short-walk (15 mins?).

I am feeling really good. And looking forward, not back.
