Starting JM Body Revolution tomorrow

Hi Girls!

Another late check in for me. Wow, what a hectic week!

Looks like you are all doing wee. Food was not good today. I have to get better at pre planning. I grab when I'm hungry. Did my AM excercises and went to Physical Therapy tonight. I would liked to have gotten in a cardio tonight but its late and I am just getting in.

Minnie--Congrats to your son on the gold. Good for him!

Stitch--hope your day was good!

Well, I am off to sit for a minute before bed.

Have a great night!

Gretta

No Jillian for me today. 1.5 hours of tennis and 1 hour of volleyball. That's plenty of cardio for one day me thinks!:)

I'm finding food a little more challenging too now that it is not so strict. I really do find it easier to be limited in what I eat. I follow it well and don't really cheat. Maybe next week will be easier not have 3 track meets and a basketball meeting. We'll see.

Stitch - how did Jillian treat you today?

Gretta - Pre planning is certainly the trick to food! Glad you a workout in even if it wasn't all that you wanted. Sometimes the day just flies away!

Take care!

is everyone enjoying this work out? Im dying to get it! I love her dvds!

Gretta, I'm impressed that some days you get more than one workout in. I'm lucky to do my 30 minutes with Jillian.

Minnie, that is a bunch of cardio. And I bet it was more fun than Cardio 1!

Welcome Meagan - yes, I enjoy the workouts. They are tough and challenge me, but they aren't impossible.

So tonight I did workout 4 for the first time. It was the toughest of all of them so far, but that is just because it focuses mainly on the backside. There is some arm work, but it is mostly combined with the glutes, so your backside doesn't get much of break. There were 2 exercises that I couldn't quite finish the last rep or hold the last 5 seconds. So that is my goal. Just like workout 3, it is tough but not impossible. And my backside is still shaking an hour later! It is going to be rough getting out of bed in the morning! :scared:

:welcome: So glad to have you!

If you love her dvd's, I think that you will really enjoy them. The first ones certainly aren't as intense as she usually is, but you do get a good workout. It's kind of nice to "build up" to the tougher workouts. I think that you will enjoy it. I know that it has been really easy to stick with is since the workouts are only 30 minutes. Let us know if you get them!

Ya, I'm glad to do cardio outside of the house. I'm sure I would be getting a little bored with cardio 1 by now. But I am super glad to have it on the days when I have nothing planned! It's a pretty good mix!

Sounds like the workouts are getting thougher. Did you manage to get out of bed? :lmao:

Hey everybody! I'm doing Body Revolution as well - on week 3! I've lost .5, which I'd love to have lost more, but I know I've lost inches just in the way my clothes are fitting. I'm not following the food plan, as I'm a WW member.

I thought workout 3 and 4 were pretty tricky - trying to make sure I had my form right and such. Definately felt workout 3 the day after, I'm a little concerned about number 12, lol!

Hope eveyone has a great day!

So glad to have you too!

It's great that your clothes are fitting better! That's always the best way to tell if things are going right! I have my official capris that let me know where I'm at!

Avatar compliments of Mr. DiRTy BuNNy, who created it when I informed him that I didn't have an avatar because I couldn't find one that was "me".

This cracked me up!

Hi Girls!

Welcome Twingle and Meagan!

Hope everyone had a great day.

Wow Minnie 2.5 hours of cardio. You rock! I'm hoping to get outside for some cardio this weekend. I'm growing tired of Cardio 1.

Stitch, I hope you aren't sore for too long!

Its een a good day here. Food was good, excercise was good and I am ready to take on Friday!

Have a great night all!

Gretta

Just finished cardio 1. It's getting easier every time. But now I'm dealing with a stomach ache. That's been happening to me a lot after exercising.

LOL - Thanks! 2.5 hours sounds like a lot.... but really when you are playing, it isn't much at all. Now 2.5 hours of Jillian..... YIKES! I don't think I'd survive. :scared1:

With the tennis, we are all just a bunch of newbies so the cardio comes in spurts. When we have our one on one with the instructor it's non stop cardio. When we are playing doubles, it's kind of hit and miss. A lot depends on how we are matched up. The good thing is, we are all getting sooooo much better and actually playing! I am really starting to enjoy myself. I still prefer racket ball, but tennis is catching up.

Volleyball is kind of the same way. Sometimes it is really intense, sometimes it's kind of one sided. This weeks game we stunk! We just couldn't get our act together and ended up 0-3. That was the first time in years we've been skunked! We'll get em next week though! I am sooo looking forward to the summer season when we get to play in the sand. It is my very favorite sport!

I'm glad the Cardio 1 is getting easier. What's up with the stomach ache? Are you drinking, eating differently? Are you hurting or queasy? Are you holding your breath? I really hope that you get it figured out quickly!

So, I said goodbye to workout #1 yesterday. Then it dawned on me that we only do each workout 4 times. That is awesome! It's going to be kind of hard to get bored with them. Yay! Last workout #2 when I am done typing.

The kiddos have a four day weekend. I am sooo excited. I love having them home! I think that it's going to be really pretty here weather wise. Going to hit the yard work and garden (it's already growing like crazy), plan the weekend meals (very important so that I don't snack all weekend while they are home), have DD's boyfriend and DS's bud over, maybe head to the lake for a little fishing tonight. It's going to be a fabulous day!

Have fun with Jillian! Stitch - hope you feel good after this one!

Just finished my second attempt at workout 3. Went better. I was able to have better form and do a couple advanced moves.

How about everyone else?

Oh, and I see a visible bicep in my arm!

Hi Girls!

Whoo hoo Stitch! Great job on the bicep! I'm super jealous! Nix hope our stomach feels better soon.

Minnie, I don't know, still sounds like a lot of cardio to me. I like watching my nieces play volleyball but I have never tried it myself. Thats great that you have found a couple of sports that you like so much. Good for you having the kids home for 4 days. What a treat!

My boys will both be home by Saturday night. Yeah! I miss them.

Did Cardio 1 today and was hoping to do it twice by didn't get that far. The Physical Therapist has given me about 30 minutes of excercises a day and I am making sure I do them religiously. I have a surgical consultation set for the end of the month for this back and I am hoping if i do everything she says I will be able to cancel it.

We have carpeting coming tomorrow and had to get ready for it. We painted last weekend but had some last minute stuff to do. Boy, my house is a wreck. Will have to get it put back together tomorrow.

Have a great Saturday do your best to stay strong and focused with all the Easter treats around!

YAY! Getting toned!:cool1:

I hope that Physical Therapy does the trick for you! My DH has back problems too. What a drag.

Sounds like you will have a fresh new look for your house. Woo Hoo!

I have decided to just be good this weekend with the kiddos home. I'm going to enjoy eating with them but watch my portion sizes. Last night they wanted pizza. I was pretty proud of myself for not over indulging. BBQ tonight with friends and Easter dinner tomorrow with family. I am really looking forward to it!

As for the Easter treats..... it's the Cadbury mini eggs that will get me. I LOVE those things! I raid the kids' baskets to find the ones that fall throughout he grass to the bottom!

Off to hang out with Jillian for 30 minutes. Woo Hoo (she says sarcastically).

Oh ya, had a loss last week too. I was worried after the great week the week before. I lost 0.9 pounds - lost 7.4 pounds so far. And my Capris zipped easily for the first time in 4.5 years. A little bit snug, but not bad!

Have a happy Easter!

Although I wasn't looking forward to Cardio 1 this morning, I have to say that I really kind of enjoyed it. I usually don't work out on Saturday mornings when he kids have buddies over, but today I kicked them out of the basement, did my workout and feel great! It's a good way to start the weekend.

I guess what I like about this whole process is it's only 30 minutes a day and you actually get a decent workout. It's hard to find an excuse not to work out. I know that I can always find 30 minutes in my day. The key for me.... I have to work out in the morning. If I don't I find my day gets hectic and I hate to have to take another shower.

Anywho.... have a good one ladies!

Hi Girls,

Good for you, Minnie, working out on a Saturday. I really like how the tapes are 30 minutes, too. Like you said, a decent workout and done before you know it.

Well, all day I wanted to get out and run and I never did. It was just one thing after another today. Hoping tomorrow I can. I think it gets cold again next week here and I really have to get off my but and get out there. I really like it once I get going. Its the whole procrastination thing....

Well, have a great Easter and stay strong! Minnie stay away from those mini eggs! Stitch hope your having a good day!

Gretta

It's 12 mini-eggs in a serving Minnie! (I love them too). Tomorrow will be better Gretta. You can do 2 workouts to make up for today. ;) Just kidding!

Second attempt a workout 4 today. Better today, but still tough. Only wimped out on one exercise today. A Cardio 1 tomorrow, then start week 4 on Monday.

On the WW front, not doing too well on the points this week. Hoping I don't end up with a negative balance for the week.

Well, week 3 is complete. Today I upped the ante on Cardio 1 by not taking any breaks. While Jillian was talking I would start the next exercise. Week 4 and then phase 1 is complete!
