Starting JM Body Revolution tomorrow

Just said goodbye to workout #1. Definitely easier than when I started and I am able to do some of the advanced moves. Keep at it, it gets better!
 
So...... I told you all that I was feeling cruddy after eating out a bunch over spring break and not making great food choices. Well, I have followed the plan to a tee except for adding the extra calories we've talked about. You are not going to believe this, but...... I went from 151.9 last Friday to 144.4 today! I feel like I'm on Biggest Loser or something. I know that a bunch of it is water weight and such but man, I am soooo pleased! 7.5??!?!? I was hoping for 3 or 4. I will post after I finish the full 7 days and let you know. (I weigh in on Friday for the Biggest Loser Challenge).

The real test will be my Capri test. I have a pair that I wore a few years ago when I felt my best prior to putting on the extra pounds. We'll see how they are fitting.

I hope that you all are feeling good and enjoying this process as much as I am!

Not the best day here, not the worst. We went out to dinner and I never got my second excercise in. I will work extra hard tomorrow! If it is warm enough, I would like to run outside. I haven't done that in awhile, if not DVD 1 and cardio for me but I have to say, I am getting tired of the cardio tape.

I too have found it challenging to get in the PM workout. Luckily I have been doing some other cardio throughout the week. I really find it easy to workout in the morning, but after that I do much better with some kind of planned activity with a bud (power walk, racket ball, volleyball or something). I really like to be out of the house for the PM workout.

That being said, this is my last double cardio today!:cool1:

It's going to be weird to have a rest day tomorrow but I am looking forward to it. I am also looking forward to the change in the menu on Monday!:banana:

I have to say though, I have found some new healthy foods that I LOVE! I was too lazy to pick and choose my meals so I just shopped with her list and then picked the meals I was in the mood for.

I thought I'd hate the Salmon but I threw it in a grill pan with some blackening seasoning and LOVED it! I also thought I'd hate the red peppers since I loath anything with green peppers in it. I love them too. Especially with garlic and chive hummus. Who knew?

Last night had the best steak ever! DS, DD and DH love it too! :woohoo:

I am certainly going to incorporate this into my life!:thumbsup2

I have to say, I think the best thing for me was having to slow down and thoughtfully prepare my food. Sometimes I get into the "grab and go" and I really don't enjoy what I'm eating or really notice what I'm eating. This just seemed so much more satisfying. All that being said... I am looking forward to some CARBS!!!!!!

Just got done with my cardio. Clocked myself under my chin while doing the speed bag. Apparently my tongue was sticking out because I bit my tongue sooo hard. I was laughing so hard at myself I couldn't breath and barely finished!:lmao:

Well, yesterday ended up being a forced rest day. I woke up and my back wouldn't move. The Dr. calls this an "episode" I'm up now and feeling better. Just a little groggy from the meds. I will go downstairs and do dvd 1 after this next cup of coffee.

My first thought was to get discouraged after yesterday, add to it that I didn't eat as well as I could have all because I was bummed about my back and it hurts like heck, then I realized I have done so much more this week than I would have otherwise. So, onward and upword to making this be a perfect excercise and eating plan day!

So sorry about your back! That really stinks, especially when you are in the middle of a goal!

I am so proud of your change of mindset! It would have been so easy to be discouraged! What a great and positive change of attitude! That kind of thinking will carry you far along this journey. Yay for you!:cool1: Good luck with today, but please be careful with your back!


REST DAY!!!!!!

To me, rest day is always looked forward too but a little mentally tough. I feel like I should keep going. I know that rest is what my body needs. So today I will be active but not workout. I have a bunch of yard work to do and am in a spring cleaning kick. I have to take advantage of the feeling cause it won't last long!

DD comes back from a retreat this afternoon. I can't wait to see her and hear how it all went!

Finished week 2. Excited for workout 3 tomorrow.

DD had a really good time. She was realllllly tired though! She just kind of lazed around the rest of the afternoon. :good vibes

So the official 7 day jump start plan - Monday weigh in to Monday weigh in is - 7.7!!!!!!

It will be interesting to see if I lose any this week or even gain a bit back after reintroducing carbs. I guess in the long run, if it's stays on the downward trend, I'll be pretty happy! :)

I was soooo excited to have a bowl of oatmeal today! I though about it all night last night!:love:

Today is a bit tougher. DS got his braces on this morning (he looks so dang cute). So, it really threw me off. I am literally going to have to force myself to workout as soon as I am done typing this or it won't get done.

This week will be pretty challenging overall. We have three track meets which means I will have 3 dinners on the road. Kiddos also have a three day weekend which means lots of kids overs and munchies everywhere, family bbq and those darn Cadbury Mini Easter eggs!

Minnie, I miss those hectic schedules. Both of my boys played school soccer and travel soccer. We were always on the go. Now, they are both away at college. They're not too far but they're not home either.

I weighed in today! Last weigh in was 5/23 and I am down 5.7 lbs. I'll take it! My food was not perfect last week but boy this makes me really want to clean it up and have a great week. Also, I measured around my waist at my belly button and it looks like I have lost 1.5 inches there. Now maybe I measure wrong but it seems like a pretty fool proof thing to do. It i'm correct I have lost some inches, too!

So, I did my AM workout and had my last of 3 injections this afternoon, now I have to rest 24 hours. So if I excercise after work tomorrow I will still be on schedule.

Just finished workout 3. I'm not going to lie, it is tougher, but it isn't impossible. A lot more work on the quads and a lot of time doing moves from the plank position. Your quads and shoulders are going to feel it for sure.

WOOOO HOOOOOO ON THE 5.7! Isn't that a wonderful and amazing feeling? It does help to motivate when you see results!

I know I am going to miss it. We went on our first college visit for DD. I am so excited for her. She has the world at her feet! I want her to spread her wings and fly (just hope it's close enough to home so that I can see her!:good vibes)

Well I have to say that I am glad that I am checking in with you guys. I really think I would have blown off yesterday's workout if I didn't. I was so glad that I did. It felt great to be moving and working out!

Off to do todays before my crazy day gets a goin.

DD didn't have the best meet yesterday. Tweaked her back the day before and really felt it yesterday. She was still in the points with a 4th and a 6th but if she had thrown close to her makes from the second meet she would have had two silvers....

DS has his meet today. Hopefully he has a good meet. He got his braces put on yesterday (too stinking cute!:good vibes) but his mouth is really bugging him this morning. Hopefully he'll not think about it too much.

Did my weigh in this morning. It wasn't pretty. Only down .1 this week. I think my body is adjusting to the intense workouts. At least that is what I am telling myself. Focusing on the inches lost since I started WW. Workout 4 tonight.

Minnie I was thinking the jump start was a bonus week and that we are on week 1. That's what I was thinking however the Fitness Guide shows workouts for 13 weeks which equals 91 day so the additional 7 would be 98. I am still going to go on with week 1 because that's what I was thinking. Continue on with week 2 because that's what you were thinking :). Hope your daughter is feeling better. What a shame to get hurt during her meet. I hope your sons teeth don't hurt too bad I know my son had a hard time with food for a few days. He drank lots of milkshakes!

Every little bit is great! I know that when I get stonger, I don't lose weight as fast since I'm adding muscle. In the end, it's the inches over the scale every time!:goodvibes

DD is feeling better. They moved railroad ties today. It can't be hurting too bad. What a weird day at track.

DS had his meet tonight. Took home gold in Discus. He was pretty psyched. (It must be the magic braces!)
