Anyone else doing this program? I'm looking for all the support and encouragement I can get. Any words of advice?

Just finished the first workout. It was good. I felt like I got a workout, but it didn't kill me. Different muscle groups tomorrow!

Thanks for giving an update! I can hardly get through JM 20 minute videos so I have no experience to tell you about:lmao. Keep up the good work!

Just finished day 3 - the first cardio only workout. It was challenging, but not impossible so I'm motivated to keep going.

Hi there! I am hoping I can join you! I am starting today and as soon as I finish this cup of coffee I will go downstairs for the 1st DVD! I just took all of my measurements and logged my weight. YIKES! I'm super excited to get going. Best of luck to any of you doing this program!

Hi Stitch,
Good for you making it to the second week! My first 2 days went great. I was a little hungry but thats to be expected and I'm a little sore, nothing I can't live with! I'm looking forward to getting on the scale at the end of the week!

Enjoy your day,
Gretta

Started week 2 last night. Actually did some advanced moves! No change on the WW scale this week, but I feel stronger.

OK made it through day 4 but I'm not feeling well at all and I chose to skip my night workout. I am probably withdrawing from the sugar. I will make up the work out on the rest day.

Congratulations Stitcher on making it to week 2!

Gretta

Well I just finished day 2. Here is what I'm finding:

Workouts: I am enjoying the workouts. They aren't too challenging (like I feel that I'm going to die) but I certainly am breathing, sweating and feeling those muscles. I do feel like I am working out! I did the 30 day shred and so far, these workouts are milder. I know that they will get a whole lot tougher in the weeks to come, so I am enjoying the nice workouts now!:good vibes

Food: I decided to jump in and do the food as well. I am enjoying the food, but found that there were way too few calories. I was very, very hungry. In fact so hungry that I was dizzy and woozy. I double my protein last night and felt much better. Even after adding the extra portion, myfitnesspal still said that I wasn't getting enough calories. I did have extra exercise (pretty intense volleyball game). Although I will continue to follow the food plan, I will add some extra calories (from the meal I am eating) as needed. I know that I can't walk around feeling dizzy for a week!:dance3:

Anyway, I am enjoying the kickstart. I felt so cruddy after a week of eating out over spring break. It feels great to be in control and making wise choices.

Good job getting through day 4 Gretta! Feel better soon so Jillian can resume whipping you in to shape. Lol.

Welcome Minnie. I agree that it is starting out easier than 30DS. But I've been doing the advanced moves and it definitely makes it harder. Tonight I will be halfway through week 2. I'm getting nervous about workouts 3 & 4

Hi Stitch and Minnie,

I have done the 30 day shred as well and agree that this is easier right now. But, she warns us that it will get harder. Yikes!

I'm having a great day. AM excercises done and I am about to go downstairs to do the PM cardio. And, I am feeling so much better. To be honest, after reading what Minnie said about food I wonder if yesterday was because of too little food or a blood sugar type issue. I felt rotten, came home and had to go to bed for a bit. Today, I was a little dizzy and thats all. I am thinking about adding in a protein snack mid morning to see how I feel. At least in the beginning when I am getting used to the whole program. What are your thoughts on a little more food?

Hope you guys have a great night!
Gretta

That's part of why I'm doing weight watchers along with body revolution instead of her diet. With WW I'm still monitoring what I eat, but in getting enough nutrition so I don't pass out.

Hey Guys,

Well, I didn't do either workout today, played tennis and coached volleyball (had an intense volleyball game last night) and figured that I got more than enough cardio in. I have given myself a couple of overuse injuries over the years and don't want to go there. Since is was the double cardio day, I figured that I got more than enough cardio in.

As for the food, I added a midmorning snack and an extra protein serving to dinner and felt much better. I really think that it was just too few calories. According to MyFitnessPal, I still had 749 calories left at the end of the day..... Even without putting my time in on the vball court today, it says that I have 546 calories left. I think that I will keep the morning snack and keep doubling the protein.

Keep up the good work!

Hi Gals!

Stitch, the new workouts will be fun. Something to look forward to! Plus, then you can tell us all about them. :)

Minnie, it sounds like you got lots of cardio in. Good for you!

Well, 2 cardios for me today. 1 down 1 to go. Food is OK. Got dizzy and ate a couple of saltines. It worked. I need to get to Wegmans and get some healthy choices for that late morning snack. Saltines are not the answer.

I strepped on the scale this am and it looks like I am down! This makes me happy! I think I will log an official weigh in on Monday. I am going to continue with 2 sessions a day until Monday and then I will take my rest day. I have a spinal injection scheduled for Monday and won't be able to excercise for 24 hours after it.

Have a great night and keep up the good work!

Gretta
